    Will anything else dye baby oil? I don’t have any candy dye on hand

    Do you make Story Boards? Several people sell them-I carry Hogg from the Stainless Depot .
    I prefer those over the “snow globes”.
    But the glycerin/baby oil mixture works identically.

    Could I use powdered food coloring in the oil that doesn't mix with the water-based?

      I have honestly never seen powdered food coloring. Do you have the name of it and I will see if I can research it a bit.

    Out of glycerine could I use Elmer’s magic liquid it’s thick

    • @weirdandwonderful
      @weirdandwonderful  Год назад

      I did one of these with Elmer's magical liquid. I'm trying to get the video out today actually lol. Pretty good timing. You have to water it down considerably if you're going to use the Elmer's magical liquid. The one I have coming out today is the 50/50 mix and it's still too thick to have that same look at the one in this video has. But keep an eye open I'm trying to get it out this morning

      Not that I've found. Michaels has it WAY cheaper than Amazon and a bottle goes a looong way.

    Can you use alcohol ink instead of pant and food coloring?

    • @weirdandwonderful
      @weirdandwonderful  11 месяцев назад +1

      No, it will mix if you use alcohol ink. Has to be oil based food coloring for the oil and water based food coloring for the glycerin mixture.

    Can we use alcohol ink instead of the water based food coloring?

    • @weirdandwonderful
      @weirdandwonderful  Год назад +1

      I find using alcohol it doesn't flow very nicely. It usually ends up mixing with the oil a bit and making kind of a mess. I'm trying to find an alternative to the water-based food coloring.

    Do you know how long this mixture works ? I´ve seen people saying that the mixture will be gone after some weeks, the color in the oil will mixed in the glycerin is thar real ?

    • @weirdandwonderful

      I have two cups that I made 2 years ago and they are still fine. One is blue and white and one is green and yellow. The green and yellow is the same as when I made it. The blue on the blue and white one faded a little but still looks great. I think it depends on the materials used and if you keep it out of the sun.

    Whats "oil based food coloring" ??

    • @weirdandwonderful
      @weirdandwonderful  Год назад +1

      If you look at the food coloring ingredients some of them say they are made with oil and coloring. If you try to use the ones made from water and coloring it will mix all together.
