Hey, jonathan here. Great videos, I'm looking forward to starting our build soon. Thanks again for the memorial flight for my brother.
Incredibly detailed and straightforward series! I'm almost done drawing and cutting my templates for the panels (watching ahead to see what all comes next), really hope to see part 4 posted some time!
Keep up the great work 😄
I actually started this video the day you posted it and just now got to finish it. Another great video! I am realistically looking at a year or so before I can really start building my envelope but will likely start hunting down good material, thread and playing with burner set-ups sooner. I can't wait until I start my build.
where did you get that pattern from please
Do you still plan on releasing part 4?
Yes I do! Hopefully in the next month or so!
@jsteward2008 awesome! There's a couple things I'm not sure about just looking at the written instructions; particularly the top disk and how the velcro is attached.
Super excited to see part 4! I just got my sewing machine and I'm getting ready to buy my fabric! 😄
Hi Michael,
Do you know any model with 10 gores, bulbous alright but slightly less than a Cameron Viva?
Cheers @Michael Balloon Builder
Hello, it’s not a ten gore, but Cameron has a 12 gore O-type. Still bulbous but less than the 8gore Viva.
@@jsteward2008 Hi!
I know about that lovely O-type 12 gores.
I also find the Viva slightly too bulbous for me.
I looked for models with 10 gores, a good compromise between 8 and 12.
Oh, do you know why those models are not made in the bigger envelope sizes?
They seem to only be made in small or medium sizes, never above 10 passengers.
I wonder why.
Greetings from Brussels,
Thomas and have a nice weekend.
It seems to be very rare. 🤷🏻
@@Melvorgazh hi thomas, i don't know any models with 10 bulbous gores. i prefer the o-type, for your question. the o or viva-type is not that efficient with the bulbous gores.
it takes up more space but has less volume than a type without the bulbous gores. greetings from Herentals and you have a nice week
