Unfortunately Martin said "Rewind Repeat It" will most likely not be released due to the two labels, STMPD RCRDS & Atlantic Records not being able to agree on a release date. And martin was delaying so much new singles to agree on the release so he was getting annoyed at the end the only way to this song comes out is with the fans constantly showing interest on this song to be released. But its 9 years since martin played in ultra 2015 and mostly garrix and Ed Sheeran listeners doesnt even know this track exists :(

I think Martin also took part in this. He is a perfectionist and as he said multiple times: he does not release 90% of the song he makes. I just think he was not happy enough with this song to release it. It is only my theory though. I personally really like this song and would like him to release it, too.

This has cost him lot of time and effort in this song and in an interview he totally said we are not gonna release it , the chances are very low due to record lable issue .

I made the track artwork used in the vid with the little rewind/repeat symbols back in university a few years ago. Tripped me out when I saw it pop up in the recommendations haha
This is one of the tracks you will not get boring, even repeating in 10 - 15 times. And goddammit Ed label, this track could blow up quickly but Garrix got a red signal to release.. What a shame 😒.

Music labels are sadly run by people who have a narrow view of musical artists who want them to churn out the same radio hit over and over to generate money for music execs.... who don't really care about music and have a "just stick with your genre... preferably top 40 pop and make us millions" view of their musical artists (ie don't try anything that would expand your brand such as Ed collabing with Martin on an EDM hit). Labels are a business but still... Same goes for the movie industry sadly which is why we get slight variations of the same thing over and over again. Ironically by not taking enough chances on out of the box projects they miss out. In this case probably big time.
