I consider this a HUGE tip no one has covered: When adventuring, bring your axe and pickaxe - break the containers and things in the world with those. Using your sword/axe/mace will drastically drain its durability and you'll be forced to repair way more often. Breaking the loot in the world with your pickaxe costs hardly any durability, saves your gear, and it seems to also break things better.
See this is why I like you over others, your blunt and straight to the point. Instead of waiting till the end of your review right out of the gate you say for those who want the quick answer, yes it's worth it, here's why.
Its so good!!! at about 140 hours in now im absolutely in love with the base building and decorating. Its incredible! Great video thank you for sharing!
20+ hours in the game so far and I feel like I have barely scratched the surface of what's available. The most fun I have had in a game in a long while. Reminds me a lot of Valheim. Thanks for the great review!
32 hours and I have 100% the game, of whats available. I dont know how you end up with 50+ hours as i probably spent like 5 hours being afk waiting for flax to grow and Water from the well
@@persnicketypicker6748 okay sure if you want to spend 10 or more hours building thats fine. But a lot of reviews are like 50+, 60+ hours and the game barely has content for 25. It's still enough, if anything i think the game is too wide and not deep enough. Though the building is great so if you Focus on that i guess there aren't many problems
I just finished the game with my friends and I think the game is okay now, and is a great fundation, but there are a lot of things that need work. The combat really isnt good enough for the size of the game. It would maybe be fine in like a 10 hour game but if we get full map and the combat stays the same it's gonna be really bad. All mele weapons have the same animations, only difference is 1h and 2h. No special or heavy attacks. Archer is borderline unplayable considering mage is just better, not needing arrows, aim, having more utility, and higher damage. Magic is the only thing that is fine and needs Little work.
This may be nit picky, but I kind of hate how you have to spend so much time in your bags/inventory to get things done. I guess Valheim spoiled me with things like placing crafted things in the world. You just build and place right from the menu, instead of crafting an item, fishing around in your bags to get that item and put on your bar, then placing it on the ground or whatever from your bar. This really turns me off, although I think the building system in this game is otherwise great.
Have you encountered any base raids during your playthrough? Other than bragging rights and housing the NPC's it seems like there really isn't any incentive to build a big elaborate base. Not saying this is a bad thing since those bases take a lot of time and what not.
No it does not respect your time let me explain why 300 resources you only use in one recipe.. Small backpack. Hundreds of time sinks. Combat is just swing a sword shot a arrow and shoot a wand... No combos no jumps attack specials no nothing. Locking basic traversal behind skill points. This game needs work also holy shit crafting is chaos its like 10 benches and 5 people gl finding what your trying to make.... Crafting from Containers is somehow not standard you gotta unlock that shit... I'm fucking don't with this shit time sink.
The servers are horrendous..constantly disconnected.if I join a mate,or he joins me..the other is lagging..tried the proper paid servers..eiether wont load up,or laggy as Shit then get kicked out
And I still do not know if there is any content in the game, or if its just a large, empty, repetitive space with only basic things to do, like Valheim.
@Lerciezje Definitely not. People compare this to Valheim a lot but apart from the artistic style, it is really different. The map of Enshrouded is hand-made, and not randomly generated like Valheim, which makes valheim a huge world but mostly filled with empty places.(not always, and don't get me wrong, i love Valheim). Enshrouded has a pretty huge map for a hand crafted game, and there is POIs EVERYWHERE, old human settlements, big forts, little medieval houses lost in the woods, and all of that is unique, almost all of them have lore that you can find there(in the form or parchements), and that can lead you to even more lore here and there. To my opinion, enshrouded is MUCH more alive than Valheim, and rewards exploration so much. There is a real story too, the NPCs you work with talk to you about the world and send you on quests everywhere, to places that make sense, this is much more fullfilling that V honestly.
The game is a great game, but I would advise that you have a playthrough solo before playing with others. The game design is heavy on the shared quest completion aspect and playing with others the first time could cause friction due to the design. So anyone considering playing the game I hope they play the game solo first to enjoy and discover at your own pace.

Genuinely nice to see you found another game to enjoy. Excited to watch your videos on it
IMHO it feels like a finished game.
Adding more content and quality of life improvements will just be a bonus!

@@KripsuPL There is more to the game than just exploring and killing all the bosses. Some of us like to build and I do a lot of it.

Here you go, little algorithm.

Love the brutally honest response en the first seconds on the video, so helpful haha
Love to see this page picking up steam a bit more.
Absolutely loving it! The potential for this game is already so high
I just got it and already loving it way more than most games.
Appreciate the quick answer, here's your algorithm food.
I'm totally enjoying this game.
I'm absolutely addicted to this beautiful game.

As of now there are no base raids.
The devs have said they are open to raids if enough players want it.
Does the first base have to be at “that” place. Or anywhere relative to the starting area?
Do it anywhere, its just recommended within the tutorial probably because theres a decent amount of starter resources there
@@KlassicKelvin thank you sir. Great video. 💯
So what do you consider the top survival game then?
Looks good!
Fell in love with
thanks for the video
What are the chances this game will come to consoles ?
It is planned for Xbox Series X/S and Playstation 5. Not sure if it'll happen during early access or after.

If you only could play one game...Enshrouded or Palworld?
Palworld easily
