    I like that technique you used in making the potato pastry.I would definitely try but would add garlic and some local herbs to the filling...Thanks for sharing

    The british teatime is very famous, but the turkish teatime is good to. These böreks and many more variations, fresh and warm from the oven, cakes and biscuits, we made the turkish potato salad. It was so good, when we came home, hours to dinner, outside cold and rainy, then the table wirh warm böreks freshly brewed black tea. I'm loosing me in memory's.

    Dough origami with a savory surprise, how beautiful, and your salad is layered as well with abundant, nutritious flavors to satisfy the most discriminating of palates. I also appreciated your use of the beet water for the orzo. You amplified both the nutritional value of the pasta and saved water…in friendship from the USA.

I am not very good with making pastry but this one seems simple enough worth giving it a try, Also I loved the way you opened the pastry and layered it quite interesting and as you said fun!     I love this potato pastry! The layering technique is so creative! I also love how you used the cooking water from the beetroot to cook the orzo. Everything is simple in idea but looks extra special at the end!     I regularly prepare "çerkes böregi", especially in winter. There are also perfect to bring out for picnics. It is much to make than your fantastic multi layers version. Once I will try it. Thank you very much for sharing this potato bread! Elinize saglik

    The beet salad looks perfect for winter salad with its colorful ingredients. Nice one pot recipe. Question: do you save the potato peels for another purpose? I chop into smaller pieces and crisp them in the toaster oven and salt them for a nice addition to snacks like nuts.

      It is regular oven tray and baked for about 40 min but can change depending on the oven

      @@TFT The purpose of speaking is to communicate. You communicate to English speakers just fine. I can’t imagine who might not have understood you who could hear you. For those people, there’s closed caption available. I don’t know where naylaharris6632 lives, but in many parts of the US we say pa-TAY-dough. We have hundreds of regional pronunciations in the US. My grandmother from what is now Poland said “don’t touch the pest-tri”. We knew what she meant. We didn’t touch it.
