This inspired me to use my knees a lot more in my own footwork steps... Big up to Strife tv for documenting and respect and love for Just Roc for sharing his knowledge!
It's all been done, believe me. What's important is that he admitted it himself. Nice & humble, each one teach one. It's near impossible to invent something that hasn't been done, & it usually happens best on accident. But the fact that every person dose their shit a lil' different is what is so great about our dance. BTW, what did that guy mean, "footwork is not B-Boy?"
totally agree, i think its not so important the actual moves themselves but they way you put them together and change it slightly to make it your own.. as for the 'footwork is not bboy' dude he's probably a power head
@jeromethebuffgnome Nice comment I agree with you it is possible for people to have come if a move because almost everything has been done up to a certain point so yeah focus on your dance do not be trying to be like someone else people, want to know the secret to being a good bboy just focus on doing your own moves and quit wasting time trying to imitate no one is going to be better than you doing your stuff so practice and take the knowledge of justroc make variations of these moves ;)
Actually footwork is also based off some tap dancing steps. For example Sammy Davis Junior used to go down on his hands and feet and do some tap dance steps
Well if he's from Hong Kong than a lot of people there speak English with an 'ENGLISH' accent. You have to remember that it was only recently given back to China in 1997.
Does anybody know what this one move is called? It's somewhat hard to explain. Its when the roll on their back with their body semi-straight with their arms touching the floor then roll onto their stomach in a circular motion. please help
lol im from hong kong too... I'm not sayin that its weird he has english accent, i just find it weird how some parts he sounds normal and then some parts he sounds chinese.
my post was obviously me being sarcastic. It's not ment to be taken as serious as you guys are putting it out there...as far as NYC bboys..ive battled, hung out n kicked it with them. As far as the Bronx...Im part of TBB and ill be at the anniversary in the Bronx this year...So as far as a real bboy goes...yea, dont downgrade me playa
dont think im starting anything, but cant tell sarcasm on youtube if you cant hear the sarcastic tone lol. but hey, at least theyre on your side if it was real haha
that's a 2 step. a 2 step is a 3 step with one of the steps done in the air. look closer, the third sound is just his leg scraping the floor and isn't a step.
Man fuck what everyone says man just focus on your dance. If people call you a biter, call them out. Everyone finds inspiration from other styles no reason to be all self conscious while you dance if you are really expressing yourself
This inspired me to use my knees a lot more in my own footwork steps... Big up to Strife tv for documenting and respect and love for Just Roc for sharing his knowledge!
Such a simple tweak to the basic footwork but makes it looks soo stylish.
This is no coincidence. Thats just the beat of nature.
I like the sound of his shoes crawling on the floor xD
Justroc is British / Hong Kong. And FLGZ was started in Korea, but is considered wolrdwide, with dancers from Europe, USA, China, Japan, too.
Its always fun to watch people in the background while any dance form is being done in public
That's SICK!
Super clean, great bboys have a unique style... its not what you do, it's how you do it.

It looks like a baby struggling to stand up on an extremely wet, smooth floor.
Some members from Strife.tv are great friends with members from FloorGangz!! But I don't think anyone from strife is in FloorGangz.
why? its art, hopefully they enjoy it and appreciate it...
can you do it step by steps?..
footwork is footwork and bboy is bboy
Well if he's from Hong Kong than a lot of people there speak English with an 'ENGLISH' accent. You have to remember that it was only recently given back to China in 1997.

Does anybody know what this one move is called? It's somewhat hard to explain. Its when the roll on their back with their body semi-straight with their arms touching the floor then roll onto their stomach in a circular motion.

@tianyieseiwoi floorgangz is not a Korean crew. Its floorgangz WORLDWIDE. Last I checked blanka and profo aren't Korean.
