Man u are amazing, i have played rtcw since I was a kid and today i have tried my first speedrun with time about 2 and half hours but it wasnt even death incernate difficulty. When you play it looks so easy but now I can say its pretty hard :D
I just tried to save some time in rocket when i noticed, that it is posible to jump off the first bridge to the second one. I´ve watched almost all of your videos and I didn´t see you make that jump. It saves me about 10 seconds. I think it might be useful for you :)
Yep. It is possible. Although I lost probably 10 good runs by trying it :S I recently developed a safe strategy to do it, but still got to practice before I want to use it heh
@@xenonwii9881 you can crouch on the scaffolding where you enter. If you disrupt line of sight he kinda glitches on one spot. Then you mauser him, takes maybe 20 headshots.

Hoyo I remember calling the Lvl Dark every single playthrough.I recently deleted the old version of the game and idk what is the lvl called in the new 1 i installed.I recently started watching some speedruns and playthroughs and when i saw the name of the lvl i was like "Whaaa..?"anyways i'm glad it wasnt just my mind playing tricks on me.

Oh that's an awful bug. I have had that happening several times. It is kinda lost when that has happend and I can only recommend to restart the whole level and do a new route on it

Are you using any texture packs to make it full screen? I downloaded one but it doesnt let me load saves. This is one of the first games I played speedrunning it looks fun
Yea I see, you gotta save nades for the right places...but if thats the case why you sometime skip nades like @12:14? And even if one nade won't kill them it would surely speed up the process, so you won't have to spend much time shooting at them.
Because I get new ones at church. I need the extra pack I think when I do the crypt dynamite jump. But to do the nades on the zombies I need to save some nades earlier. I guess I should do some time testing at some point.
The whole game is quite difficult to speedrun, but you can learn it. The only thing I can not do is the stupid level with the cable car. I'm doing, I'm doing, and I still can not jump on a rope, and I do not even dream about jumping down from it. ehhh
You don't have to release W I think. However, you need to think of the angle you are looking at depending on your velocity, and constantly have a small movement with the mouse, slowly increasing the angle. You can see this at Norway, in the beginning
And btw, do you know how can i alt+tab the game, since actually alt+tab wont work? Also, do i need a demo or anything like this if i want to upload my run on speedrun.com? Thanks again!
There should be some programs like Etmin which I never managed to get working. ALT+Enter is all (which goes to window mode). I think you need some form of video to show on speedrun.com, yeah.
It is just to drop the files in the installation folder and overwrite the files. Using the console you can directly see the current version to see if it is working.

Huh just finished a run with 1:26 that i uploaded on my channel :P pretty big mistakes but easily i improve my times. next goal is sub 1 hour :D

:D I am sitting so close because it helped me aim in cs and now I am used to it. Not sure if it is bad for the eyes or not so can't really recommend.

I think you might be correct about that. The filename of the map is still called dark, which is what I still call it actually.

It's because the enemies will hear it and they will be close to the door when you enter the church, easier to shoot them.

You can download the patch called 1.42d and you can run it using a lot of different resolutions. Go for it, its a great game to speedrun :)

Yeah, it is possible... just haven't figured out the most time saving place to use the nades on. One grenade doesn't kill them also.

What resolution do you play on? I can't tell its 1280 x 960 stretch or 1920 x 1080 in certain areas

Same damage. 2 less bullets in thompson, but much better accuracy. Especially the moving accuracy! Makes it wonderful to use for speedrunning :)

Yeah. On some versions of the game, the smaller health packs gives health even if you are above 100. Only a few exists though.
