I remember when I was a kid and I went shopping at Woolco when it first opened. I went to the music section and put on some headphones and listened to this whole album off an 8 track tape. That was an experience it will never forget.

I've been listening to this album since 1971 and from the beginning, I knew that Black Sabbath had raised the bar on Rock. Now I know that they set a standard, because Metal was born.
When Ozzy sings "I was born without you Babay but my feelings.... ", Iommi's guitar strums running parallel to Ozzy's voice is so magnificent to listen to !!

Is this the best debut album of all time ? Bill Ward , Toni Iommi , Geezer Butler and Ozzy Osborne - all on point . The phrasing of all parts is majestic . Love those long leaves , leaving you in a state of anticipation before they bang it on your brain . Masters of suspense . Masters of real music . Modern music indo doesn't like virtuoso instrumentalists . Too much unknown marketable quality in all those notes . Lets start a revolution .
Warning is one of my favs on SAbbath's classic debut album. Solid band from day 1 really.

Too groovy not to appreciate as vintage Sabbath. Personally, the extenuated bridge in the middle is a bit less "annoying" when considering live performance value over "radio-friendliness"(not everyone is a "cog in the machine" ALL the time).
