I grew up in MD and lived in DC.
My husband and I moved to Dallas, TX, in 2013.
We moved to Atlanta, GA, in 2019 and moved back to TX (Rowlett) in January.
Now we're moving to Ft. Worth next month where we'll be for at least the next 2 years...
I totally understand how overwhelming it can be to move cross country multiple times and not know where you're going to end up.
Just enjoy the journey. ❤️

It’s not so much as “Texas Culture.” As an adult I have been more into writing thank you notes I think it’s more so “old fashioned.” not a whole lot of people in there early - mid 20s do it. but more so I noticed middle aged people. That being said, if you are one to write letters your just more like a nurturing person and I think in some form it has to do with your “love language”. Idk that’s my take on it.
