There are multiple real reasons a Death Star like mission could in THEORY be proposed to test experimental concepts involving Mars, its Moons, and the Asteroid Belt with the punchline being "its for Terraforming and/or Space Mining. This is the part we put the atmosphere back together with tractor beams."
But there are ZERO reasons to trust that once the darn machine is actually built, someone won't just point it at the Earth.
Humans do be like that though.

@@NordicKitt Astrodude wasn't even in the base, I think, the last we saw of him (chronologically) was in Venus Vs Mars, and even then he was saying that he was "preparing for a mission" which could have taken him away from the conflict.
Nevertheless, F for Mars. Let's hope Astrodude is alive.

I love this first installment of "How to Terraform Mars!", and SAR really fits for a very sneaky antagonist in the series, who is a very pushy robot that causes rampage around the Solar System. I am also really excited for "The Astrodude Movie", and we finally get to see a chainbreak from "The Moon Revolution" series since "Where does Pluto REALLY come from?", which is interesting because the "How to Terraform Mars!" series is the last source for the upcoming "The Mars Arc" video.

The BEST thing about MARS is that he seems to UNDERSTAND Computer and SAR and ROTSAR.
Like. Mars doesn't WANT this and Astrodude's SHIP COMPUTER ditched the conversation which was Super Rude.
Mars' treatment of the situation he doesn't find pleasant shows a REAL planetary perspective:
He expects the Earthlings to leave him alone courteously but he does NOT expect Astrodude to be Able to say no to USA or ROTSAR or NASA or the COMPUTER.
Mars definitely wants what he wants but ALL the planets know what it's LIKE to have higher ups:
THE SUN.
And they know what it's like to have responsibilities:
THE MOONS.
And Mars is standing up for himself while actually looking cool about it.
