Awesome video! How was the 4xe system on the long highway stretches? Love the idea of the car, but always worried it would be slow and buzzy once the electric juice was gone.
Thank you! I put the vehicle in electric save mode when on the highway to only use gas. The goal for me was to use the EV part of the vehicle to power the fridge and other devices for charging when on our trip knowing we really wouldn't have the opportunity to recharge. Overall it handled and did fantastic!

Is the OEM roof rack not strong enough to hold the weight of the RTT and a person?
I never use any stock roof racks/ rails when doing this type of travel or additions such as RTTs. Generally they are just not strong enough, aftermarket is the way to go 👍
hey so what is ur total weight for all of that on ur roof as i was told it only can handle 150 pounds, or now that the rack is in the bolts and u took off the rails is it able to support more weight?
I’m probably around 200lb + with everything but with the full length rack dispersing the weight (compared to cross bars), numerous mounting points, and not using any factory rack parts everything is holding up just fine and haven’t noticed any issues. 🤘

Hahaha I ment the roof silly my roof squeaks a bit it put some foam under a corner of the roof rail but since yours is off it doesn’t squeak even with all the weight ?

@@overlandsauce5648 Mule Expedition Outfitters will be your best option. I took my Tacoma there for practically all needs and they do fantastic work!
Just wondering why did you sell your Tacoma?
Wanted something more suited for the everyday use (work and travel), more efficient, upgrade in tech, little to no need for purchasing aftermarket parts. and to showcase you don’t always need long travel suspension and 35” tires to go “camping” 😉 👍
He did a truck upgrade, A tent upgrade and a girlfriend upgrade.
