It took LSV all of 2 games of WOE limited to earn the "cast a 6 drop on turn 3 in Simic" merit badge. And the last game...what a finish.

WOW! That last game was absolutely magnificent. I was at the edge of my seat! Candy Trail and Sleep Cursed Faerie are my favorite cards from the set so far. Great video 👍

Imodane’s Recruiter is nuts. I won my first Arena Draft 7-1 on RW and my 5s were two Charmed Clothiers and Train Troops on the Recruiter. Always casted Train Troops first and won most games the next turn…also P1P1’d Fireball (Song of Totentantz) which helped

I loved adamant as a mechanic in thrones. Even though adventures were busted, it felt like there were 15 viable archetypes in the format.
His commentary on every card I think is super overpower and cool... can tell he's NOT a timmy lol

Are premiere drafts like this an all or nothing match each round? Like, he said it's good to stop at 4 and 2... does that mean that if he goes for five wins and loses, he forfeits all the prizes he's accumulated so far? I've been playing primarily quick drafts (bot drafts), and with those, you don't prize out until you either go 7 wins or 3 losses, but there's always something for the prize. I'm relatively new to Arena, and I've never played a premiere draft before.
No premier draft is just like quick draft, you keep any and all win rewards, you even get something for not winning a single round.
Just some side advice as someone who transitioned from quick draft to premier, you will find that premier feels VERY different to quick in that the bots picks are veryyyy weird in quick draft and tend to force you towards colours that might not be open in premier. I found quick to be a far more frustrating experience, so if you're familiar with the commons and uncommons in the set, go for it.
Also keep in mind, I wouldn't watch these older draft videos at this point when looking to improve. Watch lsv's newest drafts because the draft format meta changes VERY quickly on a weekly basis and lsv might be completely missing amazing cards here or mis evaluating weak cards just because the format wasn't yet settled.

How do adventures work in terms of card type? If you've got an adventure card that has a creature part and an instant part, what does it count as if say someone plays a duress on you?
The front side is the card type. You can't duress a bonecrusher giant.
adventure cards are the main card type only in all zones except for when the adventure is put on the stack (Edit: relevant note for the set: Johann, Apprentice Sorcerer CAN cast an Adventure from the top of your library. Source: WOE Release notes, WOTC.)
Def don’t need to twist LSV to play a deck that says “play 5 drops” 😅

It's pseudo-latin and derived from latin, so you're both partially correct.
@@Jason-wh7pm It is latin from Cicero's De finibus bonorum et malorum but with parts of sentences and words missing and some added letters. How or why some printer in the 1500's did that nobody knows. It was first popularised as placeholder text of sorts in the 1960's when Letraset used it in adverts for their transfer sheets of fonts (basically letter stickers that were used in graphic design).
