    Big shout out to Lian Li's customer service. The power cable in the EDGE 850 I bought was missing. Contacted Lian Li and got a cable in two days all the way from China!! I got a Smart 600W to replace the PSU in a non-critical PC. Great information.

    Thanks, Mike! Great review… got me wishing I had purchased that 1300W unit for my 5090 build. I didn’t realize they used Ga (gallium) components in them…. Very cool!

    I used to use Toughpower many years ago and never had a problem with them..
    I now only use SeaSonic or PSU made by SeaSonic..

    You lost me at ThermalTake and Highend! Lmao I have a low end one and it got the job done for 5 years but there are better high end options TBH

    • @mikesunboxing
      @mikesunboxing Month ago +1

      Fair point, but these newer high-end units definitely compete with the best of them! 🔥
      and if you look at the actual ODM's most of the brands on the market are made by the same factories

      @MrB-ki6dk so do plenty other brand models. corsair offers at least 7 year warranty.

      @DavidUnderhillthat's true. Every brand does have bad models in their range. I personally prefer seasonic, my focus gold came with a 10 year warranty
