Paul, I want to thank you for your ministry. I have been watching your sermons since I was a high school student, new to the faith over a decade ago. Now that I am a young pastor of a church, I still rely on the wisdom you share every week. Even though you don't know me, you have mentored me in more ways than you can imagine. You show me that you serve a great God in your boldness, and you inspire me to serve Him in the same way, despite how ineffective my efforts often are.

I am only a common person, and a woman at that, but the work the Lord has prepared for you to walk in dear one is not ineffective. Just as the prophet Isaiah or Jeremiah's was not ineffective, it will not return void to the Lord.
10“For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven
and do not return there but water the earth,
making it bring forth and sprout,
giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
11so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;
it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55
14But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. 15For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, 16to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things? 17For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God’s word, but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ. 2 Corinthians 2

No man faithful to Jesus Christ and His unfailing word is ineffective. Not possible.
56The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is NOT in vain. 1 Corinthians 15
May the Lord's Spirit come in power despite your weak flesh, so you know it is not of your effort, but His power and grace alone. For His names sake may He grant true repentance, may they weep and mourn over their sins, hearts made new by His grace that hunger and thirst after Him, to know Him deeper and wider, trust Him and obey Him. May their hunger for pleasing the Lord be unquenchable, a holy obsession for sanctification. Amen.
12Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. James 1
