@rabbiyitzchaksviben-tzionl3203 I guess that depends on how much you want to spend, medium price would be around the $600 mark. I would recommend looking at a Shimano Vanford on a Shimano Zodias rod. I'd lean towards a 1000 size reel with the 268L Zodias for flicking small lures, however if you want to flick the 13.5g Tassie Devil like I am in this video then a 2500 Vanford with a 270ML Zodias would be a better choice. That's why I typically bring a couple rods with me as it gives me versatility to throw both small and slightly larger lures.
@DCJiuJitsuGeelong Cheers mate! Unfortunately boats and kayaks are not permitted there, but you'd be hard pressed trying to get one in there as well. Most of the banks are as you see in the pic with sloped rock edges.
Awsome video , you need to be very physically able to climb and it's mountain goat territory there but that area seems to be the only area where fish are in the lake, I've tried other spots with no luck , this video is classic well done love it Great feed there and please everyone there is absolutely nothing wrong with taking a feed home for the family or yourself or partners , vic fisheries excellent job to stock our waterways well and frequently , thank you.
Thanks for the kind words! It's definitely a spot where you need to be careful, the rock walls are not made of large rocks that don't move. I always advise trying to have 3 points of contact with a hand free, especially when going down to the water.
Met Robbie a couple weeks ago while I was fishing at Wurdi, seems a nice guy. Great brown 👍
Fish on!! I’m glad I found this channel. Looking forward to the fishing videos
Great video jordy as always Nice big trouts. Luckily you didn't loose the rainbow. See you on the water old charlie with my feathered friends
Thanks Charlie, I ended up losing one today trying to net it 😩 can't get them all!
Nice trout nice colours🌈
Been waiting for this! Awesome video

How long is the rod?
@rabbiyitzchaksviben-tzionl3203 the 268L is 6'8, the 270ML is 7'
some ripper fish mate!
Cheers mate! Definitely some good trout getting around at the moment

Any way to get a yak in there ? Or are you allowed to yak it ?

was this filmed today?
Nah mate, I did go today but missed a few hits and dropped a rainbow at my feet when trying to get the net under it 🤦🏻
Sorry Jordan what outfit were you using I couldn't make out what you said
I started with an FM Stradic 2000 and Palms Pinwheel rod, but ended up going to my Twin Power FE on an Ocean's Legacy Quest 4-10lb
@@jordythebassist Do you prefer the Quest over the Pinwheel?
I have my eyes on the 88MLL
@@tonyluong5173 I prefer the Pinwheel personally
