In their defence, they are only called Nazis by their adversaries. They call themselves Greek nationalists. And I'm not sure what your source is for the "ancestries" of the modern Greeks, but it's the Turks who have Greek ancestry and not the other way around. Greeks converted to Islam and became Turks under the Ottoman Empire; Turks did not convert to Orthodox Christianity, a central tenet of modern Greek identity. I doubt many Hebrews/Jews would have converted either. Who are the "Cretians"?
I am against extreme ideologies like Nazism, Fascism and Anarchy, but I am against banning a political party. We need to respect all ideologies, even the ones we disagree with, and understand that ideologies don't commit crimes, but fanatism does. Because fanatism creates a blindfold, and is proven to commit countless crimes in human history: the British Empire, Nazism, Stalinism... they were all different ideologically. But fanatism and hatred was common to all of them. And I think that purging Nazism and Fascism is not going to work. We should instead focus on making everyone freely pick an ideology, and when necessary, ally with someone that has a different, even opposing ideology than him. Hard times are coming, and we are all the same in the face of censorship.
