I have a question. when government does not give tax benefit on PF investment then why its compulsory? Earlier PF was tax exempted under 80C (atleast upto 1.5L), in such case 8% interest was justified investment plan. However, now in new tax regime Even PF contribution is taxable, how 8% ROI will be profitable? it will take approximately 5 years just to get breakeven point. forget to beat the inflation. 😢 Is this joke with a common man?
Completely wrong about SGB. Disappointed. Look at the secondary market for SGB's: they are running at a 10% or so premium over IBJA gold prices. Earlier, they used to run at about 2% discount. Govt is definitely going to discontinue SGB's, but that is not because people are not interested; it is because it is a losing proposition for the Govt, since they have been running it naked.

Really I feel astonishing even 5 rupees 10 rupees is being paid through phone pay and google pay. Is it justified.
2 Things Should have been Done in New Tax Regime
1. Bank FD par deduction
2. LIC investment deduction.
In next GST COUNCIL meetings 3% GST slab( only for gold) is going to be submerged into 12% slab.
