@@zakirbakar3540in terms of raw pen, HEAT is better, but the post pen damage is not. Sometimes, a tank you would only need one well placed APHE shot for Will take 5 HEAT rounds because of that. An experienced player Will most likely know where to place shots with Rounds that don’t have the best pen chart, so it really doesn’t matter what Shell you’re using at that point in terms of pen, you’re just looking at post-pen damage.
There's a company here in Australia called whiskey project who are owned and operated by ex-australian servicemen who bought an aluminium fabrication shop in a town close to me. From what I've heard they produce some boats on contract to militaries and have recently sent some to the US Navy for testing

that's why i kept the post-ww2 stuff to my aircraft, the bullshit amount there is still below the line for me (very close, but still not over). not to mention the bias in air battles is determined by gaijin's flavor of the month, meaning every nation has a chance to be the OP tree for each update
men of war is actually weird as a game series, cause they are basically made by 4 different devs, one of the reason assault squad was so good was because it's a different dev from the other two men of war games, and osfront is basically a fan dev team out of the 4 that's somewhat as competent as the one that made assault squad
Everyone has their preferences. I just can't play BR ~4.0 even BR ~6.7 because of the KV-1E and B users that have it covered in bushes destroying my team while I'm trying to grind Germany, Sweden, Britain, and of course the extremely strong 6.7-7.0 US lineup with extremely annoying CAS, very annoying to come up against even if the players aren't great. I genuinely enjoy 9.0-11.3, I'm spoiled by the stabilizers and it feels great playing tanks that can do a difference. For example, I felt like I couldn't make any significant contribution to my team while playing low rank British tanks with their low pen and low post pen compared to the Russian tanks. Destroying a t-34 and a KV-1 in every Churchill variant is such a chore, I hate it. In the other hand, playing an M1 Abrams at 10.7 (played it a lot at 10.3), even with its weak dart for its BR, I love playing it and many times I'd get at the top of my team leaderboard. Even the Type 16 when it didn't have dm23 was more enjoyable to play than playing low BR for me. There's also the fact that I feel REALLY bad coming up against new players, it feels so wrong, I'd say I'm a pretty good player so it feels unfair. I don't get why the KV-1E users don't feel pity for using an overpowered tank against new players...
Feeling bad for the new players is only for the weak. You either curb stomp or get curb stomped. We all have a br bracket where we have a high chance to curb stomp and one where we just get curb stomped. KV-1B or E? Churchill VII godlike angling? Panzer IV (long 75) having the best day of their life? Man f all of that, the Snail has blessed even the new player access to this mechanic called CLOSE AIR SUPPORT. 90% of the time you ain't bouncing a PE-8 or Wellington, Lancaster/Shackleton big bomb. Heck not even the Stuka, BF-109 and Bearcat heavy bombs. May your matches be Wins and your Ghost shells be few.
Also the KV-IE/B are surprisingly easy to kill, both have holes on the forehead not protected by the add-on armor. And any of the early tank destroyers will also make quick work of the KV.
@@oakley1906 That's nice to know. The gun breech is my go to when dealing with them. The problem is most players cover it up with bushes so it's hard to spot the weak spots, so that's why I always go for they're gun breech, you can't cover the gun breech with bushes.
The sdkfz 234 is my absolute favorite vehicle in the game, i am playing at 6.7 tier and still have it in my loadout and often manage to get 2-3 kills with it, it is a blast to play and a lot of players just seem at a loss at how to handle something that is small and nimble. And because most people just overpenetrate me it is often even more survivable than my heavy tanks.

Sometimes I think about returning to WT but the grind to unlock new stuff is so painful lol (or expensive). I used to main American bombers and heavies but if I returned I'd need to unlock some cas and medium tanks.
Chances are top tier has just as many of those lvl 10 rookies, just ones that opened their wallet. Even when you're in a full level 100 lobby at low tier it's still much more fun than top tier as people actually respawn more often than not.
Level 20 newbie but.... It's a more fun game when it's all noobs but I don't get too upset when losing to a team stuffed with level 100 Field Marshals or whatever they call themselves.
Funny thing is i hate playing low tier now because there's always 3-4 lvl 100 players obliterating everyone so in the end i have to get serious when i came to chill so might as well take out my 2A4 if i have to play seriously in the end

I don't go down to seal club. I like the dynamic of low tier. The planes are a joy as they are so slow and you can focus on taking out modules rather than aim center mass to get the kill.

It really isn't worth it playing Warthunder beyond WW2 & early Cold War vehicles.
