I just did the same thing but with the Knicks as user team and exact opposite happened. Knicks won the chip and T Wolves were in the play in the next year. Definitely need to tweak the simulation settings to try to find a more realistic sim.
here's a good challenge Kenny. Play from the Jordan Era, and make the champions as accurate as possible who won the championshio. E.g. Play as the Bulls on 1991-1993, then change to Houston Rockets and Win the 1994-1995, and go on and so forth.
