- Welcome to my channel! In this video, I show you how to recover gas from the air conditioning with and without pressure gauges inside the outdoor unit to be able to move our equipment to another location without losing gas.
It is used for all types of air conditioning equipment, whether split, cassette, compact or ducted.
In the video I show you how to collect the gas step by step, without losing any refrigerant, following these steps:
1 We need: Set of allen keys (open or close valves), wrench and screwdriver, an assistant (to stop and start air conditioning), stopwatch (to count the time)
2 Turn on the air conditioning (it is important that it is in cold mode. Check that the indoor unit starts and cold air comes out)
3 Close cold outlet valve (fine tube, liquid line)
4 Count from 20 seconds to 1 minute depending on the length of pipe we have
5 Close cold gas inlet valve (thick tube, low pressure gas line)
6 Turn off the air conditioning immediately after closing the valve.
7 Gas is collected inside the outdoor unit. You can now dismantle pipes (without gas), to move equipment, etc.

En que momento sabes qje ya no hay gas
Es asi, sin manifold cerras la valvula fina ESPERAS a que encienda el compresor SIEMPRE contas hasta 15 seg y ahi cerras la valvula que te faltaba, ademas vas a escuchar que el ruido del aire va a cambiar como que se va a silenciar un poco ahí te das cuenta 100% que se guardo todo, igualmente contando hasta 15 seg ya esta también porque no tarda nada en guardarse todo el gas.
