They aren't scared of backup dancers being just as good as themselves, there is no ego play here. Also some of their backup dancers can be trainees in training to become idols themselves, and that makes it even better. Trainees get first hand experience on sharing a stage and understanding their marks. So if some day they transition from trainees to debuting themselves, they already understand the hard work and hours that go into being center stage.
I would like to respectfully point out that BTS doesn't use backup dancers but dancers. What's the difference between "dancers" and "backup dancers"? "Backup dancers" are there to fill a big stage - around and behind the main artist. "Dancers" are an integral part of the choreo. It's clearly evident in their performances - here and others such as ON, Black Swan. The exception I can think off is Butter at Grammys, backup dancers are used, BTS is otherwise able to execute the choreo just on their own. BTS themselves usually refer to them as "dancers" to accord the dancers the right level of respect and importance. BTS pre-debut has performed as backup dancers. 😊

Nobody out-dances these guys! BTS has no concern that they’ll outshine them; and JHope and Jimin are world class dancers! Regardless, they give a lot of respect to their back-up dancers because absolutely enhance their performances.

There is a reason why there are the 3Js and why they are the danceline which V is not part of,even tho his stans say he is.
Songdeuk,their choreographer merely complimented him on his dancing after Singularity but he was NOT officially added as part of the danceline even tho his stans and some BTS guides mistakenly say so.
Jhope is a dancer from childhood,so is Jimin and Jungkookie was taken to the US as the one with most potentials chosen by their Choreographer Songdeuk so the 3Js are seasoned dancers.
Anyone who wants to argue that point can do so with themselves. I don't have such time for lame arguments.

10 years of their hard working make them successful, and yet they're so humble and respectful. I think that's why bts is different from the others
BTS are loving people. They know hard work and understands what it all takes so no favoritism and no jealousy toward members or backup dancers 😁💜
All the backup dancers are at the top of their game - many are actually trainees getting experience. The tannies are not fuelled by ego and would have no problem performing with anyone superior. They would see it as a learning opportunity. BTS does not run on insecurity or jealousy about the skills of others - and that is the key to their success. They are incredibly hard working, keen to learn and don't see the talents of others (or each other) as a threat.

They gave their dancers a shout out and center attention at their YTC Busan shortly before their encore section. BTS have no ego when it comes to learning and improving, if one of their dancers happens to be better, they'll be cheering that person on and probably asking for lessons💜

taehyung gives his energy 100% both in rehearsals and on the real stage, he becomes an icon in each song, in each choreography, he is a complete and admirable idol that is why there are so many kpop idols studying his fancams to learn from him , that is be a fully talented artist

What makes Taehyung V so mesmerizing to watch while he dances is that he doesn't just focus on the steps. It's the way every inch of his body moves and he adds his own flavor to it. Every facial expression is so well timed where it fits the choreography perfectly at any given time🔥

I was lucky enuf to go to their concert in April in Las Vegas, I live there. And keep in mind most k pop artists do this. They never have opening acts...when it's time, it's time, they start the show. I went to the 1st show of a 4 show, 2-weekend event, and they had a problem with the big screens, took them 45 minutes to fix it and Bts stayed on stage, 45 Minutes longer so everyone got the full show. They go full out for every song..never stopping. You get your money's worth...trust me. Everytime.
I'm not even kidding when I say that I always hold my breath when I was BTS dance practice video. Especially ON, Dionysus, RUN BTS, Fire, Not today, .... dance practice 🔥🔥🔥🔥

The one rapping at 2:00 (SUGA) is starting his tour in April. Don't know where you are located, but you can try to get some tickets :) (not from scalpers!) I'm confident he alone can burn down any stage ^^
The one at 3:40 (J-HOPE) was in Lollapalooza with 100K audience and he did. The whole concert is free in their channel BangtanTV.

Not y'all thinking their label makes them do things they don't wanna. There is a reason BTS hit the big time where other kpop groups didnt, and that's bc their label IS DIFFERENT. Everything from BTS contracts, to their control over their music and artistic direction, etc is fully decided BTS. Yes there is a dark side of kpop but BTS and their label are not part of it. That's why their songs have meaning and have a different sound to kpop. It's why 10 years later, theyre still together as a group bc they wanna be. They own sht tons of apartments and money bc their contracts were the best in the biz - even better than western music labels i.e. cardi b didnt even get paid for her music - and they renegotiated their contracts a few years ago so its even more better than what it was. They have millions of shares in their billion dollar music label and are allowed to get tattoos, eat what they want, dress how they want, do what they want. I suggest actually reading up on their history and how they had to go against the media, government and general public in korea for years because they were doing things no one else was.

i will say this. before seeing BTS live, my favorite show of all time was Janet Jackson's Velvet Rope, that was the best show I ever saw. Then I saw BTS, now THAT is the BEST SHOW I HAVE EVER SEEN. Nothing wrong with Janet, no shade at all. She is still my second best show ever, BTS is just the best!

Bts members also have experience as back up dancers cause it's how the company trains them first before their debut. Jimin, jungkook and j hope are some top notch dancers. U should really watch jimin's dance performances he is very smooth and perfect with moves. He tops the list of my favorite dancers,he knows how to add his own style & make audience fall for him. And coming to back up dancers outshining bts I don't think that's the right way to put it cause bts and their team both are always on par that's what makes it a perfect performance, they mostly dance by themselves u should watch those, they choreo & perfection & synchronization is crazy. If u observe they keep changing their centre positions many times for all songs yet they r so perfect in handling all those. It always looks more good with backup dancers cause of bigger impact but even they 7 perform the show is dope. Their backup dancers r perfect, they r perfect, their choreographer is perfect
They’re all equally amazing dancers, and that’s how it’s always been with bts, it’s always been fair and about everybody, so no one outshines no one, it’s as long as the give a performance to their fans then everything is sweet for them. And also, they’re definitely tired but they’re also used to it, they’ve practiced 12-16 hours since debut, maybe a little less now, because they got their team together, they don’t eat just apple and water tho 😭😭 they all eat like full course meals, one of the members has a whole live where he just eats and talks, some just bring food and eat, make food, everything is about food for them, and we love it 😭😭😭
They're really good in incorporating back dancers to make the performance more impactful. No competition here, they're all good. Even the back up dancers are used to make the artist shine well.

BTS aren’t scared of being outshine by the dancers bc they are worldwide artist wt more than 10 years of experience and also their stage presence are beyond magnificent, it is magnetic.
It is important to point that all of his dancers are truly pro-dancers and trainees and not backup dancers.
Also BTS didn’t follow any starving diet, this boys can eat everything that they want, they continue thin bc they usually train 16 hours per day and some goes to the gym or play sports
Probably the most refreshing thing about BTS is their utter lack of ego... EVERYthing is about the team, and that team extends past the people on stage to the people surrounding and supporting them. They don't throw tantrums if they don't emerge victorious at awards shows (take notes, Breezy 🙄) - and their humility, combined with talent and hard work, is what got them to the very top. You are right about their concerts; best money I ever spent in all of my life. The purple ocean is incomparable. 💜⁷

They perform 2.5 to 3 hours non-stop with no opening act. I'm 42 and have been to countless live shows and festivals... NOTHING compares to BTS live. Period. You can watch their entire "Permission to Dance LA" concert on Disney +. J-Hopes full Lollapalooza show is available on RUclips and the documentary of the making of his album "Jack in the Box" is about to be released on Disney + on Feb. 17th. It's called "J-Hope in the Box".

Yes! Our Kings don't play around when it comes to Live performance and concerts. They put 💯 into their performances, vocals and Rap. BTS concerts are Always sold out, Never a Empty seat. Lastest sold out concert tickets were in Las Vegas NV. All 4 nights. It was Amazing and Fire.You guys gotta check the live concerts/performances.

Nice reaction👍☺. If you like choreo, there's a compilation of their dance practice from their debut in 2013 until 2021 called BTS dance evolution. It's just a snippets of their dance practice but you can see the amount of hard work they have put into their career.
