I try to utilize them (bearers) as status effect attackers, to make up for their lackluster damage mod, give them weapons that easily do big stacks of status effects. They can tank the damage and bleed or poison the enemy out.
Wak I do hope you will stream soon on weekend days ,cuz i wanted to discuss more about Archer thralls. your last few vids were great ,but gave me more questions than answers , like what is correlation between Agility and Ranged multiplier. cuz many of thralls you have shown have high Strength AND strength growth chance or health . I do not need my archers have very high health ,but as much ranged dmg as possible .
I usually run 2 Delinsia's if I'm fighting. They are better than a Cimmerian Berserker in my opinion. Yes, the CB does more damage, but only slightly. You get like 99% of the damage but quite a bit more hp with Delinsia. If I need to tank something and need space, my go to is my Shemite Bearer 3. If Its just mats, run 2 T4 bearers. I tested this out on Siptah about 7 months ago, but the Shemite Bearer 3 had the highest HP of all the Bearers on Siptah. I leveled every single T3 and T4 and rerolled them to have similar rolls. Some of the T4 were as low as like 6K or 7K, the highest was only like 12k or 13K. The Shemite bearer 3 on that playthrough had like 16.5K hp. I'm back on exiled lands and my current Shemite Bearer 3 has just under 16k and the closest T4 has about 2.5k less hp. I personally think T4's should have more health, more damage, and more slots than a T3. They only have more damage and more slots.
Bearers are the best Thralls :D They tank and stack damage if given poison weapons, and the best of all, they have large inventory to carry your stuffs :D
whats your favorite Bearer? mine is Eina the Light. i give her the envenomed daggers or another dagger that cause bleed and poison. slow and steady we all go back to camp alive with all the gear!
Thanks, last night I was going through your video to see if you posted a one about their health. The only one I found was the bearer against the arena champion. Good stuff 👍
6:37 I've been using this class of thrall for last few days to fight for me. I freed Freebooter Argus after a purge. Even though he's not the strongest hitter, he comes with a lot of Agility right out of the gates and has good health pool. It's a good balanced fighter for builds where both you and the thrall are doing the damage. On Siptah I just feel like my Dalinsia's and CBs are squishy, even with good gear.
I would recommend the best way to utilise the bearer is run war party perk with the bearer acting as tank with the irritate perk active on them and your best combat thrall backing them up as the DPS and you can run a healer build basically and treat it like a true RPG that's just my thoughts in it or there's as someone else suggested running war party again with 2 bearers running tank equipped with DOT weapons preferably complimentary weapons with I'm sure there's a legendary mace that applies sunder and some form of poison combine with a bleed and gouging weapon on the other and that's triple DOT and a lowered armour build allowing you to be executioner with heavy damage dealing single blows like the overhead great sword strike on the executioners sword i forget all the legendary names but they would be pretty powerful builds especially against bosses and such
From Surges, Kapta - Seeker of Hearts is my favorite Archer. Fast leveler, not quite sure what her ranged damage modifiers Kapta has, but a 1.92 melee modifier, so giving her strength bows sounds like a plan.
The melee modifier only affects non ranged weapons such as sword, dagger, axes, pikes and hammers. Any kind of bow strength or agility is affected by the ranged modifier only
just note that named bearers come with 4k hp at lvl 0 and T3 come with 1k ... so if you gonna use potions to get the best modifiers (perks) and gonna lvl them level by level having them eat each lvl then T3 can have more hp then Named but if you want a fast meat shield named are great... that 3k extra hp means you dont need perfect perks (or gain percentages) as much as a T3
Nice work, but you forgot ALL of the T1 Dogs of the Desert! 750 starting HP, 173.5 HP per point in VIT, 0.875 melee and ranged modifier, and best of all, it applies to ALL of them, fighters, archers and DANCERS! If you can't find a high end T4 dancer, these guys are your best bet to have follow you into rough places, *cough* Set temple *cough* or the arena.
Just checked the wiki on an archer I don't recall you mentioning or maybe I missed? But it's Johan Farseek t4 archer from purge cage. Mele and range multiplier is 1.92😮
Devotee's, while they make great archers, also have t1-t2 thrall melee combo behaviors. This means they will never do a complete set of melee attacks using any weapon.
@@wak4863 At least now they are more like damage sponge then damage dealer. I could even say that this is some trail to achieve RPG elements with them.
How is it that with the full Authority perks, my Berserker (L10) gets about 20% more HP, My Ansina (L11) gets +50%, and my max bearer III about 30%. What determines this percentage. I am surprised it's not a constant, and seems random (like so many other modifiers). -- When looking for best HP thralls, this also matters for final best HP goal. Hey wak I was wondering if you know about the thrallable Stygian soldierlll that are in the purge camp if so do you know if they're a bug or not but most likely it is but just letting know about these weird bug.
🤨 ... only in the surge, that means when a bearer I or II is found in the world they are not the same? I am a tiny bit confused. Cannot pinpoint when/where I have seen them as they usually end up on the sacrificial stones. Thanks for your patience with this question.
Grilled steak (14% vitality growth rate-the highest itg as well) is the only option to go. I tried out several foods and when I take CBs for leveling from 0 to 20, it gives them a health pool of around 4.4K by only feeding grilled steak. Hope, this helps. 🙂
Very nice and informative video, i appreciate it. 👍 But your previous video also raised a few questions for me, because of the weird damage modifiers. 😅 Just for a bit of context: i never used archers before so, about one month ago i searched for best archers, and found a video that recommended beastmaster teimos. The reason is that he leveles really good in agility, he mostly ends up round about 60 in agility. So even with lower agility modifier he hits very hard because he gains much more points. I got a bunch of them and with agility bow they deal really good damage. However, here is my question: How exactly do the strength and agility modifiers factor into the damage? Can a thrall with high strength or agility out damage a thrall with high range damage modifier?🤔😵💫
This is the same topic I was going to bring up to wak. That in my theory these videos are good for talking about raw base stats. But the other supporting stats such as bonus damage per agility, starting agility, and agility growth chance, would potentially end up hitting harder fully leveled than one with just very good ranged DMG multiplier. However this is just a thought experiment and I haven't worked it through
@@therealwhitesky yeah, and on top of that the changes and inconsistencies all the time. Like how have so many fighters higher range damage modifiers, or archers higher melee damage modifiers? It’s so confusing! 😂
It's really simple... usually melee and ranged damage modifiers trump everything else when there's a significant lead.. Teimos as a fighter is pretty garbage :) He used to be okay back when he was bugged (even then he was mainly used because of the incorrect HP and fast leveling not for his damage) However as an archer he's not bad because he gains a hidden racial bonus to archery so his modifier is 1.8 instead of the 1.3 he has in melee, which puts him close enough to things like the berserker where his agility points can make up for the difference (he would need roughly ~19 agility to be equivalent to the ranged damage of a level 0 berserker and he gets more than that from the start) If you try to compare him to Amurath the Swift for example, then he would need around 73 Agility to catch up in damage to a level 0 Amurath.. as you can see that is starting to become a bit difficult even for Teimos, plus Amurath will have all 20 levels to gain some agility themselves and maintain the lead.. However overall, Teimos seems to be a decent archer, I was surprised by looking at the stats :D

I got a Rethrous the burdened at level 20 with 12,798 HP.
The bearers mad egood zombies with the frenzy build super tanks
i get thralls like pokemon, I got to get them all.
How is Lian and Teimos not on any of these lists were they nerfed that bad which list would they fall under if I might of missed them
Because their damage mod is better
