We are slaves to Christ who unconditionally loves us. Therefore by following His example this is how we should love others. As everyone under heaven, slave or master, will be judged. Look at verse 9 does that not also apply to the masters ?
You cant separate christianity from politics. You must live accordingly your believe, always ask God for wishdom and how to lead the people - follow His commandents. Go and read Kings 1 and 2 etc. The kings that followed His rule, prosper. So, your actions must show God's light.
