Thank you man. I made a machine with barrel cams, scotch yoke and a geneva mechanism. Solidworks can't support geneva mechanism and advanced mates. (Geneva is using basic motion, contact. Barrel cam is using advanced mates, follow path. So if you use advanced mates you can't use contact I don't know why...) You made barrel cam assembly using tangent, it will be very useful for me now I can use it with Geneva cause I don't have to use advanced mates anymore.

Actually while swipe cut you have to check merge tangent faces
Many thanks for the explanation! I still have some issue with the cut sweep function, when adding the guide curve to the function... any idea?
Make sure that the guide line is pierced to the profiles
