Famously the best ine in Doctor Who oddly if you consider that it was Jon Pertwee who was the one who was the one who made this up it is said to have? a very stable comment, things are only one thing or the over, + or - that is the nature of the universe in a nut shell or a Jelly Baby, with a bit of wibbly wobbly for good measure
You missed out ‘City of Death.’ I do get slightly irritated when the New Series keeps using the “Reverse the Polarity” and “You’ve redecorated” lines; those were Pertwee and Troughton’s catchphrases.
To be fair, “You've redecorated” isn't Troughton’s catchphrase; he only said it once in The Three Doctors. Plus, it's a good gag. It helps to remind us that each Doctor is their own person with different views, even with the same brain.
That is the whole tongue in cheek point. The story goes that the phrase was inserted by Jon Pertwee when he was called to spout some pseudo-scientific technobabble that he couldn't be bothered with.
And with Yaz and Thirteenth : Yaz : - Can't we like, reverse the polarity or something? Thirteenth : - Yes we can! You speak my language ❤️ I love them

It's neutron flow. Polarity in this meaning is a plus or minus charge ( like electricity ) . Unfortunately neutrons , like the name suggest are neutral, having neither a plus or minus charge. You can't reverse its charge. It's become a bit of an in joke thru the years.
We're confusing the polarity! This is the greatest line ever haha
"I reversed the Jelly Baby of the neutron flow" 🤣
where is that from, out of interest?

I love Troughton's knowing slight smirk when Pertwee says it in The Five Doctors.

i remember 12 says something like
i'll reverse the polarity. sounds impressive. wish i knew what is meant
"It takes you away" has a line with Yaz and 13 as well.
He is ignoring the Chibnall era and I can't really blame him.
Where Yaz says the line as if its a common human phrase. That irked me so much.
Presumably Yasmin was repeating something she had heard the Doctor state earlier.
Most of us will be retconning this whole nightmare
Who’s yaz? And the 13th doctor hasn’t had any episodes yet, once Peter capaldi regenerates then we will have Ncuti Gatwa as the 13th doctor
There's a bit in Inferno where they "reverse all systems", which is kind of in the same vein.

There was also a reference to it in It Takes You Away.
I already said that I love your videos and I'm glad you're active like it continues
Reverse the jelly baby!
They say it enough times, it starts to sound like a single word.
technically these would be called "callbacks"
that's the joke

ahhh, you've redecorated.... i dont like it..
Polarity doesn't sound like a words anymore😅
How do you reverse the polarity of something that's neutral anyway?

Where's the extract of 13th saying "Reverse the polarity of the neutrons flow" ??
its in the trash legend of the sea devils episode too but eh, who cares about that
But neutrons dont have a polarity????
