I am pretty sure iron will was nerfed to 60 mr and they removed the anti knock back. It was in some patchs during the multi classing era ( sry if im wrong)
Why do you use staff mastery and a magic staff instead of a crystal sword? A crystal sword would free up your perk slot, and still have the added magic damage. Alternatively, why not use a quarterstaff? I'm new to wizard so I'm wondering is all.
It’s a good question, but to put it into perspective, a purple crystal sword will deal 60-70 dmg where a staff would do 100+. Why ? Because the math is the following, staff mastery dmg : (2 + magic staff magical damage) * ( 1 + magic power bonus) + true/add magic dmg. And on top of that you can cast magic missile with the staff an deal 2 more dmg per projectile + 15% magic pen on the staff.
I watched this cleric guy saying that all true invis should be removed from dnd, such as with invis pot and rogue's hide, as a wiz player this would be a god send but I don't even play HR so I thought you would have a more informed idea on it. Do you think it would be a good nerf to rogue or something else?
I love the fight breakdowns. I would also like some montage of wiz plays as well. Also: I love the 10 spell gameplay. If you consider running it make a video of that as well please :)
It increases your dmg by at least 20%, making sure you can 2 tap any rogue. It's also super helpful for PVE clearing which is a big factor in surviving. Kiting, module crossing. You can see in the video I one tapped a rogue + arcane shield

Hi! So I mostly play Wizard, and I know my build is… not great, but I do it because I love the aesthetic of a Crystal sword on fire with ignite. I know this build will never be optimal, and is most likely trash tier no matter what I do, but is there a way to make it somewhat viable? I run Arcane Shield/Spell Memory (zap, icebolt, fireball, ignite, and I haven’t settled on the 5th spell) Perks: Ice Armor, Fire Mastery, Quick Chant, Spell Overload.

Honestly bro like... wow / league have similar mechanics and i love casters .. I like playing control mages etc. Then I found out you can just stab people in the face as rogue bro and I just cant play wizard anymore aye LOL! I still like coming to see your wiz videos though it reminds me of the passion I had for wiz when I first played this game lol. I might even try some games today It's just wild playing solo wiz into a lobby of 3 rogues who literally just open doors till they find you 🤣🤣.
I think i would really enjoy a Guid how to find people in Solos with gea Score unter 25 because i never meet people there (i Play unter 25 because i want some free Kills)❤

Agreed, full stealth is not healthy for the game. But Rogue would need a big rework

wouldnt a rogue with cutthroat or high Armor pen rogue kill you?

It's viable, but you're making your life harder, mostly because of Rogue and Panther Druid. Anything else you will be fine

Duo anything is viable
also what do you do in duos, trios in close quarters where you risk hitting your teammates with spells when they frontline
Use lighting strike to hit over your front line, if you can't juste haste + ignite + invis them
