i remember when this song was introduced at the beginning of the pandemic. It was so powerful and went "viral" around the world at the same time the virus was traveling. For the first time I felt the cohesive comfort spreading of hope and peace from fellow believers. We were no longer divided by denomination, but unified in the same struggle. I wept and wept as I listened to believers singing the Word in Ghana, Kenya, UK, Canada, etc.
Since it was launched in this version, this has been my daughter's favorite song to sing. Thank you for sharing this song with us in such a beautifully sung duet. Here in 2025!
I'm ex muslim from Indonesia🇮🇩. This song makes my faith stronger. I watching the blessing every language. Every people will confess Jesus as Lord and Savior Amen
I can assure you that's the best decision anyone can male, the decision of accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour. N building a personal relationship with Him and the Holy Spirit
The Swahili version is so beautiful - a blessing - "uplifting our voices to the Father" - "Praising God". Two beautiful voices that are awesome - sincere. Thank you for making this song possible.
This is still the most beautiful offering of “The Blessing” I’ve ever been privileged to hear. And they make their harmony look effortless. Lord, I ask in return that you would bless them and keep them and give them your peace. I pray they know you’re with them in their comings and their goings and that all the days of their lives you are with them. Amina/Amen ❤
I loved this guys!!! I dont speak that language, but There is one thats universal and its the Holy Spirit and it was a BLESSING!!!! GREETINGS FROM ARGENTINA
His grace s sufficient and he will sustain. You are justified, welcome in his presence because Jesus advocates for you." There is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus " Rom 8:1
Beautiful. I’m a student from America. I just moved to Kenya for 16 months with some classmates. We’re learning Kiswahili. We just memorized this song and sang it to some of our new, Kenyan friends. Thank you for this amazing cover! It’s been such a blessing to us! 😉😊
Wow. This blessed my heart so much. I didn’t realize how much my heart was hurting. This is so powerful, I don’t understand this language but the Holy Spirit was speaking to me through your worship. God bless you both
If you want to hear it in English, Kari Jobe and her husband Cody Carnes sings it. It's still called The Blessing. It's not the same soft vibe all throughout like this beautiful rendition, but beautiful and powerful nonetheless!
The original song was written by Kari Jobe and her husband. It’s called The Blessing. I also love the one done by the people of Zimbabwe. In any language it is very powerful as it is God’s word spoken!!!❤️🙏🏽
The Swahili version takes the crown.... beautiful, beautiful... thanks again for using your lovely voices as vessels to praise ABBA father. Twashangilia...
