I am a victim/survivor of domestic abuse. I don't know anything but God... I am a mess most days but am able to grasp God's love on prescious few. That's what I live for.
As Christians, we KNOW our God and what He and only He can do. We tirelessly work, faithfully pushing forward in our lives and in helping others. On the platform, we strive for the congregation to hear His voice, not ours.... but there is a point where we lose steam. There's a point where we stand silent, not knowing what to say anymore, what to do, what to sing.... and sadly sometimes, what even to pray. It's a very low feeling... not low like distant from God necessarily, though that feeling creeps in too, just uselessness, purposeless, regardless what we know from the Word, these feelings can be overwhelming. I think those are the exact places that God wants us to be because as we are trying to do His work, He's still doing His work in us too...
I am tired indeed! After a life full of stress from sexual abuse and other mental and physical problems, I lost most of my eyesight in both eyes almost a year ago. And I have been fighting really hard and I have achieved so much this year. But only Gos's hand can cure this. And I am so tired getting used to it all and now working through all the emotions this has brought. Yet it makes me grow and I cannot wait to see HIM face-to-face.
