Oh my ...Boo...as i learn more about you i understand why i find you a hoot. Purple..my favorite color too. Toile...love it but have never seen it in purple. I have a room done in red and one room in blue. I need me so purple. The nurse fabric i have used before. I love the characters. So stinkin cute. We had a Ben Franklin here until about 2007 or so. I bought the frames for our son's nursery in there before he was born. It was a quaint store; felt like the olden days. I feel like craft stores are becoming less and less common! :(
They are! Even Hobby Lobby has downsized their craft sections to make room for decor and all the stuff they bought from Bed Bath and Beyond! I did notice the other day that Michael's is now carrying fabric though💖
@Peg such a unique haul! Sis that nurse fabric deserves a journal of it's own. One of those reminds me of my oldest sister who was an RN and full of bluster! She and I did not have. Good relationship at all but when she was being a nurse she could be great. The fabric is like a mix between that old hallmark lady I can't remember her name Maxine? Sorta reminds me of that style.
Oh also, Ben Franklin. We only have one left here that I know of. When I first moved here there were several and they were kindof a mixed department store/craft store. Eventually they moved into just crafts and then Michael's, Joann and HL came to town. They have always been on the pricier side so the only one left here is over by Microsoft. I go there once in a while.
I was wondering where Ben Franklin's were. I am going to see if they have a website. Looks like they do and they don't. It kind of looks like they have a RUclips channel also.
I love your happy mail videos. Very exciting stuff. That nurse fabric is so unquie. Since you asked, I do not feel the bright green goes well with the brown fabric. Something you said caused pause in me...when I get other peoples creations I hoard them. I have trouble using those in my projects. I just want to keep them and I admire them. But I wish I wouldn't hoard them so others could enjoy them too. Wonderful video.
