I have a 2022 ninja Kawasaki 400, at the first gear, it is very jerky despite raving very slowly, especially when releasing and turning the throttle handle back to its off position. Which clutch unit would be better for me, a slipper or grip clutch, so as to have a smoother ride.
Sorry bro but no clutch will fix that. It's jerky due to the ecu saving gas, switching from open loop to close loop input. Basically, in order to run as lean as possible, they designed it with herky jerky engagement. If you want to fix it, the clutch isn't the issue, you need a tune or a commander. If you want a smoother engagement on the clutch, you can buy a slipper with more plates - more plates means more friction, more friction means you have more control over engagement and disengagement. But honestly the best thing is just to learn how to ride smooth, calm throttle rolls and accurate clutch release will give you the ride you want, and all it takes is practice.
Do we need to use clutch to gear down while riding slipper clutch system Ktm motorcycle's ? While increasing gear its not impossible but I can do it while decreasing gears
It is always better to rev match since the frequent usage of clutch wears it out. Sure, the engine and the overall riding is safer with slipper clutch but there's still gonna be that wear and tear from the usage of clutch. Not something to worry about if you're doing it once in a while tho.
This is the simplest explanation that I have seen on the internet.👍
Me too
This is the clearest and easiest to understand explanation of the slip / grip clutch. Thanks for posting this.
Glad it was helpful!
holy shit this man can destroy an entire school's career.
Thank you! That was clearly the most simplest explanation . Helped a lot.
One of the best and most simplified explanations !!

Awesome work man
Can you also make a video of how centrifugal clutch works?
Why Dislikes ? From auto manufacturers ,Mechanics or old tech savvy people
Beautiful explanation
Very informative 👏👏👏
1:58 It's "loss of traction" not "lots of traction"
The back torque is not created by wheel it's the transmission ratio mismatch with the engine RPM, visualise it.
Great explanation! Good job! keep it up.
Thank you so much!
Great dude..
amazing video, thanks a lot.
excellent !!!
Thanks bro 👍👍👍
Thanks!
good video

I don't use brakes during heavy curves if I use this mechanism my engine braking techniques will no longer exists.
Nice
So clutch doesn't filly disengage from driven clutch when we press clutch?????
Will not rev matching in v3 still be harmful coz it comes with slipper clutch too or is it only for emergency
It is always better to rev match since the frequent usage of clutch wears it out. Sure, the engine and the overall riding is safer with slipper clutch but there's still gonna be that wear and tear from the usage of clutch. Not something to worry about if you're doing it once in a while tho.
Alag se lag sakta hai kya normal clutch ki jagah ?? Avenger 220 me
Rev matching is the solution to all these fuss.
This new technology will make new drivers dont know how to rev match.. smh..
Lovely
5:00 So at higher rpm, it is trying to pressurize the plates, isn't it hard to engage the clutch?
No
At higher rpm the slip allows the pressure between the plates to decrease... Thus gradual engagement
1:58 I think you mean to say "loss of traction," not "lots of traction."
Thanks for pointing out the spelling mistake.
Learn to rev match people
👍
good video, 3 years after same comment hhahahaha
ओ भाई... वॉइस ओवर में भी ओवर एक्टिंग हो सकती है , इस बंदे को सुन के पता चला...
or a person can learn how to drive a manual transmission properly
Wrong ratio. It’s 1:2, not 2:1.
Your video is great though your fake accent bothers me a bit
Poor english pronounciation.
Cool video but the fake accent is so annoying
