Who else saw the fall coming in the first battle ? GG anyway Skill, great battle. ( and no it wasnt worth it since the e75 was a one shot and there was still plenty of damage to be done). Also please dont do what people who complain all the time tell you , this is what WG did and the game is worse than before IMO.

Mobility and Reload make this a fun tank to play - just dont forget the limitations of the armor and most tankers can have a GG in this one!

I think amx 30 is a good tank. Was bit disapointed to see it dropped from techtree, but i guess its ok because we still have it as collector tank. I prefer it over stb.
AMX30 is one of the best tire 9! They can not just shoot without fully aimed. This tank has very good for/backward speed and gun DPM.

I admit that it became hard to play competitively with after the 2nd mark because it's hard to be consistent with amx 30

It's better to peek a bit higher up on that side of the aircraft carrier. There's a ledge that counts as a hitbox and you can peek further

Looks like a nice satisfying wack from that gun. Love the mystique surrounding this tank with mythical Obus-G round. Interesting time for tanks in general as well, with the head scratching over the question of man portable anti-tank missiles.
Thats really unfortunate couls have been a 10k game but still gg for the 8.2
I love this tank, this is coming from someone who didn't play the older version, I think as a general purpose main battle tank it does very well! Speed, dpm, armor in the turret, good looks, decent gun depression, what's not to like?

Do not listen to the people saying this tank is bad - they are total bobs that can only perform in bz176; amx 30 is a tier 9 hidden gem (collector tank), it's very similiar to stb, that trades some turret armor for more alpha, dpm of this machine is just brutal - one of the best tier 9 meds, although do not expect leo 1 sniper experience - gun is on derpy side
Its not amazing or perfect, but its one of the most enjoyable tier 9 meds in my opinion.
I treat it like the t9 Patton, trades gun handling for speed. I still prefer the Patton but damn is this thing good when it hits
i cant say why but i love the amx 30, the thing is huge.. no amour if you even think about firing without being fully aimed your gonna have a bad day.. but i just love this tank lol

for me atelast when i play this tank and spam heat the gun misbehaves so much but when i spam standards it works haha

I like watching skill get a casual 8/10k thats fun but i think its important to see even the best players have to contend with 15-1 just watching skill deal with sutch games has helped me no end to keep my sanity

Im playing t10 recently it is ok , if you know how to aim w8th udes so amx is like that , my average dmg with these 2 around 3k combine, my best is amx30b 6k dmg .
Before getting farmed in ANY tank, I drown as well. Strange people that think they have a right on my hitpoints.
In my opinion, AMX 30, without a little armour on the cupola is a worse Leopard PT A
This tank is actually balanced and fun. I've had it for ten years now and never even bothered to buy the tier 10, because it is basically nerfed at that tier.

I love the AMX 30. It just WORKS. The dpm is fantastic, gun handling is great, mobility is superb, and the gun mantlet catches a surprising amount of rounds for you, making you unexpectedly good hull-down compared to expectations you would get looking at paper stats. solid 9/10 tank imo. 10/10 for a tech-tree tank if you took away the tumor on top. (yes, I know it is a collector vehicle)

I always liked the AMX 30 at tier 9. IMO I consider it better at tier 9 than than the 30B at tier 10. Granted, I haven't gotten around to playing the PTA or the Leo, which, I think, are better at t9 and definitely at t10. GG Skill. Who among us hasn't pushed our agression too far or got too greedy? I think the AMX 30 is a good example of a vehicle you have to play extremely tight, with lots of finesse. I think that's why I like it.

This tank is almost fine - "almost" because it go a bit power creeped since it was put into collectors box. But still pretty fun to play, not like 30B ruined by big tumor and low pen on gold.

Skill get a m41 rev with a bounty aiming device and rammer. It's ridiculously good. Doing 3k per game. T9 match making. It's insane the difference. U hit everything
I only use silver ammo and can get 3 marks I reckon

@Kohagaan the m41 rev is (correctly) considered the worst medium at tier8 .. but if you put a bounty aiming device it seems to become amazing.. like a Scorpion G but faster reload and faster she'll velocity with preferential match making

I'll say YES iz was worth it, u dealt 6k but every single shot beautifly connecting and that rate of fire shell after shell... It is worth going to maximum to pen all. Even the maximum ment that ur sacrificing 10k potential easy. One more thing want to say my thanks for the raid aprox. 1 week ago! Keep rockin man

Very fun tank, but unforgiving and tricky to play with. Also it burns quite easy. Btw this is now day 3 asking for Charlemagne!

I love and i hate it and AMX 30B... Because on paper their guns is good... And in reality it's treating me like Bourrasque i mean one battle you can hit everything even a ELC on a move that is 400+meters and you are driving too and sometimes you are missing all hits even the Maus that is simply sitting and showing his side 100 meters away... I remember onr battle in Prokhorovka i did only 6.5k because i missed x3 Maus'es about 20 times that was trying to play in mid... So in that battle theoretically i was able to do 12k+ dmg but RNG said nah mate not today... And it was the last day i played with the AMX 30 and AMX 30B grrr still need to ace them... I guess next time when i will get Prokhorovka i will spot and try ace it just like this as i aced Strv 103B simply spotting and getting 12k assist 🤣

what is your strategy to overcome this? do you play different tanks (TD/LIGHT TANK/HVY TANK) or do you go for different tiers, up or down tier, or do you have a favourite that you go too when all is going pear shaped

If only the tier 10 was decent, I love the cold war tanks, but the AMX 30 B isn't half way as good as Leopard.

Anyone who drowns in wot should have to pay 5x the repair cost and get no XP (Assuming a teammate or an enemy is not responsible for the drowning)
But you can't say that... First how do you "prove" the enemy or teammate was responsible? It would have to be manually checked and that takes a lot of time.
Second, I suspect MOST drownings happen on "accident".... Say you're crossing a river and misjudge the distance and time, or your fall off a Ledge or are battling the enemy like on Malinovka, etc. and you drown. You didn't do it on purpose. So, they have no way to monitor this, thus your suggestion is stupid and just punishes people for accidents.
