What Do You Need For A Junior Data Engineer Job?

I was asked whether it is necessary to have 1 year of experience to get a job as a Junior Data Engineer.
I don't think that it depends on the one year, what is more important in my opinion you will learn in this video!

Is data engineering worth entering or are junior jobs hard to get?

so wouldn't the real answer to this question be, "it depends on the company you are applying to"??? if they are truly in need and you have a modicum of experience, they may hire you but if they are established and have people on staff the could pull from, they may bring you in as entry level. especially if seniority lists exist. some companies may take you in without a degree or certification. but in the latter your salary may be lower than expected.
