    The psychopath interviews are my favorite.
    One of my caregivers growing up was likely a psychopath according to my therapist. Watching the breakdown of the facial expressions and body language in videos like these helps me so much. I'm able to translate the visceral response to something tangible. Thank you for this!

      I didn't know anything about this, until Chase brought it up. I wonder if doctors are now advising pregnant women to take vit D... ?

    • @JenniferElliott-ve8pj
      @JenniferElliott-ve8pj 5 месяцев назад

      @@tlindsay1007 It's standard of care (in Canada) for doctors to prescribe prenatal vitamins and discuss the importance of good nutrition during pregnancy. As for advising about higher doses of vitamin D, that seems to be within their discretion but is not standard protocol. Also informed expectant mother's can request a vit D serum test to screen their levels and identify if additional supplementation is indicated. But this is not generally offered as part of the prenatal work up.
      Since the main purpose of adequate vit D serum levels is to support the mother's immune system to protect her against viral infections I wonder if it would be beneficial for expectant mother's to wear a mask when out and about during cold and flu season?

    Very interesting (and SICK) video. My mother was a covert narcissist and I've had hours and hours of therapy and lots of hard work to get as well as possible from the damage she did to me. During my therapy I read a book, can't remember the name, and it gave a description of a narcissist. Picture a movie set in a Western movie. We see the saloon, hotel, general store, jail, etc. Look behind the set - there's NOTHING. That describes the narcissistic mind. As you described in the video, there's nothing in his mind. A light bulb went off in my brain when I read that simple explanation in the book. That's my mother! Do I understand? No. Hope I never do!!!

    32:34 I remember that Cordova commercial! : )
    Speaking of Rich Corinthian Leather, my parents had an upholstery shop and there's a synthetic fabric called Naugahyde. Made to look like leather, but cheaper, easier to clean etc. The brand had a little "nauga beast" mascot cartoon guy, from which the faux hydes ostensibly came. My sisters used to faux chant "Save the Nauga Beast!" for the little cartoon animal rights : )

    Psychopathy is such a perplexing, curious, and extremely fascinating topic for me. I’m about halfway through Robert D. Hare’s book titled “Without Conscience” and it’s a phenomenal read so far. Still, no matter how many books & articles I read, videos I watch, the topic of psychopaths and how their brains are wired is truly an enigma.
    Great video, guys. The audacity of this piece of human sewage to try and water down the absolute atrocities he committed is beyond anything I could come close to comprehending. He (along with other evil sludge of society like Watts, Todt, Peterson, Downs, Bundy, any individual who commits atrocities like these and any crimes against our innocent children) really bring that much more substance to Shakespeare’s quote, “Hell is empty and all the devils are here.”
    Take care

    One thing about psychopaths: The story is always about them, not about the public making fun, not about the media getting it wrong about diaries, always about them. He wants the public to have a set in stone opinion about him, a set in stone image of him that cannot change or deviate.
    What we have here is deviation from the narrative he portrays and he hates it because these are his murders, his image and life that is getting twisted.
