Eric Johnson is easily one of the best guitarists of all time.
👍
I agree with you! He will always will be the greatest of all time!!!
i didn’t know there was doubt about it🤔🤷🏻♂️😂
At what?
Absolutely
I love how Eric just kind of goes “Aw shucks, this is just a little thing I do” and then proceeds to play one of the most beautiful chromatic progressions I’ve ever heard. Thanks for the tips Mr. Johnson. It feels like an honor learning your tricks.
Thank you for giving us your heart and soul for starving people. You are a kind and generous man. 🙏❤️
It’s so amazing to see the legendary Eric Johnson give us these lessons lol.
You’re absolutely right!
If you’re reading this, first time I heard manhattan it changed my life! Legitimately. I’ve listened to and studied your playing ever since. So much appreciation for your contribution to not only guitar but music as a whole.
That g3 version is magical
Right when he switched the chorus on, I was transported back to Austin City Limits when he was playing "Trial of Tears" back in the 80s. Love it!
I watch that clip at last once a week - best live performance I've ever seen
Austin City Limits has some amazing concerts back in the 80’s. I remember Stevie Ray Vaughan absolutely tore it up it 89
Mr Johnson, it is very kind of you to bless us all with your playing skill tips!
May God bless you richly!
Absolutely brilliant. Thank you so much for this and all your lessons, your fantastic music and simply for you in the world. ☮️☮️
OMG, I had no idea. This was wonderful, all for free, and all that’s asked of us is kindness and compassion. I gave Eric, thank you.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Eric!! You friggin’ rock!!! I’ve been playing for about 38 years (and boy my fingers are tired! 🤪) and these guitar lessons from you are a dream. Thank you for sharing your amazing gift with us all! Love on! ❤️
Wow! This is really going to be great! ROCK N' ROLL Mr. Johnson! Don't stop. Now and forever, I'll keep on listening to you and your music and stuff. As well as the other rock bands out there as The Beatles, you will always be one of the best of all best with the very best music. I'll continue to support you as well as the other rock n' roll guitar players too! God bless you Mr. Johnson. Keep it up! Don't stop rocking!
Eric has very good taste harmonically. 12 fretting proved to be magical!
´´Simply like this´´ It´s amazing how internet can propose some awesome lesson like that, a genious passing on his teachings in such a natural way. Great to see how natural Eric is in front of the ´´camera`` and his frasing is absolutly magic. One of the best moments of quarentine.
These lessons are worth their weight in gold
Man, he's truly amazing. Perfect tone, technique and everything..
Thanks Eric. You’re a blessing to many! Your humility and openness reveal grace.
This is my favorite of all lessons that EJ gave. Very useful for me
Bruce Lee of the guitar! Thank You EJ!
Thank you again!
Wonderful tips...and I'll keep donating as well.
This just sounds like magic
That is so Great to show us and for the food banks this things of yours...Thank you Eric.
Amazing! Made my day. Eric I hope you’re having a wonderful week! With warm affection. P.
Thanks Eric I love hearing you play 😎👌
Flawless, EJ is awesome. Love these lessons. Thanks for sharing
Awesome. I've wondered about those sounds. It's nice to know the magic now. Thanking you
Eric, also a great person too! Thank you for the lessons!
Them old guys man, they got strong ass heavy hitting hands. All of them back then
As a fellow Austinite Eric is so throwback Austin to me. The specific accent & attitude. When I was in high school I used to see him around Bill Webb’s shop when Bill was perpetually working on my ‘66 Super Reverb. A lot has changed. A lot has stayed the same.
Now I can finally learn how to play Manhattan correctly. Thank you!
wonderful lesson Eric....thanks for sharing
Very inspiring lessons. Thank for sharing these techniques.
Thanks soooo much Eric!!!! See you on the Flip side!!!!!
Thank you Eric! Keep them coming 😃👌🏼
Thank you for sharing so much knowledge
He probably is, in my opinion, the overall best living guitarist. I don't conclude this lightly. Clearly, he is one of the best of all time. He is a type of Hendrix or Holdsworth as it stands. Amen!!
Awesome information Eric. Thank you for sharing!
Hi Eric, thanks for uploading another cool guitar lesson video, please keep them coming, and I hope that your family is doing well.
Thank you Eric
Thanks for sharing that!! It openned my eyes to some things that I could try to learn to use. More money for the food pantry!! :-)
Thank you Sir... Very very good lesson.
From one Texan to another, thank you for this.
WOW!!!
IT'S FANTASTIC SOUND,LIKE ALWAYS!
THANKS, ERIC!!!
Incredible, who needs an Octavia! ALSO, stop it, you're killing me! I've been playing guitar nearly my entire life and I'll never fly as high as EJ.
Very nice 👍
This is sick 🙏 Eric
Sempre uma lição top do mestre.
Abraços e bends
Not many people can use harmonics so wisely and musically.. Actually probably just one. . Another important lesson!
My favorite Guitar to this day is my Fender Eric Johnson Stratocaster, love the Logo on the neckplate
Each week! Thankful
Legend , keep on rockin
Thank you
3:35 learnt this from him years ago in a magazine article when I was studying the SRV solo, still such a cool effect and good to hear him do it so beautifully to this day.
That was other worldly both playing and sound
Sounding great Eric! Thank you.
That was so great Thank you Eric ;-)
Most awesome!

Makin' it look easy!!! 👦🏻
I can’t believe that you can’t find a better angle to film this videos Eric !
I’m sure he can . He’s a busy man and probably just pulled these videos out of a hat on his phone to bless us.
@@chucklewismusic
Fanboy 😂
He made 28 videos just like this one .
Greetings from Mexico! 🇲🇽
Legend
Amazing tone! 7 frets up gives you a 5th harmonic harmony!
Great teaching again :)
Sou teu fã daqui do Brasil...
Thank you ericc
god of tone
Oro puro🤘😊🎸🥇
Great lesson Eric, could you do a lesson on combining your arpeggio runs with your scale runs and how you pick your five note runs cheers, love your lessons mate
master!!!
Ey Eric again thanks a lot for sharing your great knowledge and technique with us, by the way I think the solo in the song One to one with Carole King is fantastic, is my favorite ever.
Good one Eric. Young starters need this. Old guys that "Forgota" need to re-get in touch with harmonics again.
Young starters need basics. These are advanced techniques.
@@jpdarnell7 Your talking about Morons. This is for people with potential. Go back to sleep.
Yowee! Love this one!
I'm watching you from Japan!
Legend❤
You've given all the young ones your tricks now your going to have to change your game :)
Knowing tricks and writing ej level music very very different
dude this is some crazy cool stuff
Thanks Eric!
I noticed the bass player has an EJ poster in the background for a recent Jack Russell Born To Be Wild video. Rick Travis knows who THE MAN man is. And it's Eric Johnson!
Damn sound. 🔥🔥
I'm jealous of those frets.
Thanks!!!
Eric Johnson - looks and sounds like your friendly Home Depot Employee - makes the guitar scream like a banshee
Thanks man
THANKS
If you listen at 50% speed, he sounds totally drunk. Great lesson, thanks!
Lol.
Thank you for posting these videos , some times its hard for me to get motivated to learn something new , your videos are reminding me what i should be focused on. i was wondering if you could point out a few scales i should work on as well as theory behind your beautiful chord choices.
🖤
Could you make a video solely on harp harmonics? I love hearing yours they’re beautiful I wish mine could sound like that
👍🏼❤️
Epic
You call him eric

Mr Johnson.
