    Great video, super helpful thanks!

It would be super helpful if you showed it being packed into/out of a vehicle and address that end of things. One of the biggest use cases for pickleball players is transporting the machine from their car to a court to practice on, given that most people do not have a court at their home. This is a big deciding factor for me. My local club has a fairly long walk from my car to the check-in desk to the court. I'd guess a good 300 yards or more. Being able to easily unpack from the car and take everything with me (paddle bag, machine, balls, pick-up tube) in one trip to the court is kind of essential.

The Slinger Bag also is an all in one machine and has storage areas for your ball tube, your paddles, your phone, etc. It also has a removable battery.

Yes, the Slinger does have the features you have mentioned, but the Titan is a far superior machine in comparison when you look at the Titan's mechanics and capibility.
The Titan's standout features include: Titan Drills app, internal oscillation (not a seperate oscillation plate), active breaking system, electric height adjustment (not manual) - the list goes on.

John, where in the video did you disclose if you are supported by Titan or get this machine with a discount or free in exchange for a positive review? How can we be certain that your review is unbiased? You need to be honest with your viewers! You have been promoting a somewhat similar Spinshot machine in your previous reviews, and you did not even mention it here, I wonder why.

The two are not exactly comparable. One is an $850 machine and the other is a $2200 machine. It would make more sense to compare it to the Erne or other machines at a similar price point and feature set.

The PlayMate ball machine DOES have a battery that removes so charging can be done elsewhere.

I have a Titan Ace and have used it for about 3 weeks now. I can provide some feedback. First it is a nice machine. Throws balls consistently. Has a long run time. The app is pretty capable but it does have some cons. When starting machine and launching the app it begins throwing balls after 5 seconds and before player is ready. Not good. The app has a maximum of 12 drills which is not even close to being enough. Need at least 24 and 36 better. One has to be very on guard about unintentional selection of a particular app because the app is so sensitive to light finger touches on phone screen. You might think you selected a dink drill but when putting your phone in a pocket you touched the drive drill without knowing it. You are expecting a dink but get a drive. Ouch!!! The manual mode sucks. If the app doesn't work the machine is useless in my opinion. The QR code for creating, and downloading drills is a good idea but it is faulty in its implementation. Build quality is good. It is a nice machine. Not perfect. Needs some tweaking. App strong but faulty in areas. Knowing what I know now I would buy again unless a new problem comes up that I haven't experienced yet.

Thanks - your feedback is valuable and we appreciate the time you took to comment. We are always looking at ways to improve our ball machines and as such we have v2 of the Titan Drills app in the pipeline for 2024 with some exciting developments.
To address some of your points we are pleased to share with you that we are making the following improvements.
      1. You can set your preference for when the first ball is delivered.
      2. We are extending the custom drill limit from 12 drills to at least 24 drills
      3. To help 'miss tapping' another drill, we suggest you lock your phone before putting it in your pocket.
You didn't mention specifics about the manual mode or the drill sharing function so its tricky to reply to those comments but if you want to give more feedback then get in touch with us via the website and we will be happy to hear your thoughts.

24 drills sounds good and still not enough for serious players because the app is very capable and opens up the world for possible creative drills. I want to practice many different shots and strategies, and as I create different drills I want to keep them all. Why even put a limit on the number? And think about this fact. Younger players are taking up the game in a big way. More and more every month. These young people are tech savvy and will find ways to conceive, design and construct drills we haven't imagined yet. Why put a limit on that creativity.
My main issue with the QR code is this. When saving a code to your photo library on your phone the name of the code is not saved. If you want to download a drill from your photo library you cannot identify a specific code since no name appears. You only see a line up of QR codes with no names. However, having a higher number of drills available would solve much of this problem.
The manual mode. It is simply not interesting. Its like a powerful computer that has only 4 keys and a screen size of 1.5"x 2". Extremely limited.@@TitanBallMachines

Can the machine be used without the App? My concern is what happens if the company goes out of business and no longer supports/updates the app to be usable on newer phones.

Don't worry - we are not going anywhere! But yes you can use Titan ball machines without the app. And the app stays on your phone so you have it forever :)

Hi John C,....I'm interested in your reply to this question as well....as I'm considering selling my pickle 2 lobster machine and buying a Titan One instead. But it would be nice to know if the distance can be adjusted (via speed and/or elevation), as well as the angle when the machine is positioned at the T baseline. Thanks!

HI, sorry you couldn't find where to adjust the settings of the drill. Swipe left on the drill name or long press the drill name to edit the drill settings. You can adjust all the settings - speed, spin, height, direction and feed rate.
There is also a help section on the app (see the menu button top right)

how do I set up a mega drill?

    • @TitanBallMachines
      @TitanBallMachines  3 месяца назад

A MegaDrill is a collection of your drills that are played in a sequence. On the Titan Drills app you click "MegaDrill" (top right) and then select which drills you want to play in a sequence. Then press start. The drills will play one after the other.
