I really love the animation Montoon has done lately. And the collab with some big franchise such as Transformers and Star Wars always draws our heart towards the game. Grimlock Barats makes more sense than Grimlock Roger and here is why: First let’s start with the basic looks: For a Gromlock Barats Moonton could have just made Barats (the rider) look a little bit bigger for this skin (just like how much bigger Popol actually looks in this trailer with this skin) and it could have been passed off as the humanoid form of Grimlock on it’s own and then it could merge with Detona (Barats lower half could slide into an open part on the back of Detona and that lower half can be used to merge with Detona (the dinosaur)(like how Ailee sits inside of Jawhead sometimes, but can still peak out a bit) and just like that they can shrink Barats in it’s rider form too) to creat the dinosaur form of Grimlock. I also have to add that the concept or “Merging” is actually a thing in Transfomers (if you really want to know check out “Transformers: Combiner Wars”) and it could have been used here. Also Detona does not just swallow stuff. He spews his acid on the enemies and in many iterations Grimlock breaths fire from his mouth in dinosaur form. For Barats other skill, at which Barats shoots some missiles to the ground that knock enemies back, u need to know that Grimlock has some also some old iterations (exactly like the one they used) with rockte launcers on his shoulders in his humanoid form (you can actually see the rocket launchers in 1:40) and Moonton could have took inspiration from those designs and given a Grimlock Barats rocket launchers even his Dinosaur form. For the last point i have to tell u, that i know that, Barats swallows enemies, but that won’t be a problem either, because if you had seen Transformers: age of extinction you should know that Grimlock was a very huge and hungry dinosaur in that movie that actually bit and tore a bunch of decepticons to shreds. And if we are talking game mechanics something like Grimlock which is often a huge dinosaur towering even over most of the other Transformers all the time would match a huge and Chuncky yet hard hitting hero like Barats much better than a fast and nimble attacker like Roger that can move through walls and sometimes literally fly through the air for seconds in the right conditions. On top all these facts you need to know that Grimlock is mostly portrayed as a no-brainer-character in the kid’s shows (like for example in “Transformers: Robots in Disguise”) and that characteristic matches Detona (as huge and not very smart Dinosaur) perfectly and contradicting Roger’s at the same time. Anyways all of this long essay is pointless, because it’s not like Moonton is going to read a single RUclips comment and then literally completely overhaul one of their crossover skins and give it to another hero. And also one major fact they always consider is how popular and profitable the heroes that they choose for these kind of crossovers actually are. Solely based on that point Grimlock Roger would make a lot more money and is much more profitable for Moonton than Grimlock Barats because Roger is much more popular than Barats and get’s picked a lot more too (which is really sad to admit btw), but i still think Grimlock Barat would have been the better choice based on the lore and all other facts. Also props to anyone that reached this point of this comment instead of doing something else. Good Job!👍 U deserve a Savage in your next game.😉

Grimlock Barats makes more sense than Grimlock Roger and here is why:
First let’s start with the basic looks: For a Gromlock Barats Moonton could have just made Barats (the rider) look a little bit bigger for this skin (just like how much bigger Popol actually looks in this trailer with this skin) and it could have been passed off as the humanoid form of Grimlock on it’s own and then it could merge with Detona (Barats lower half could slide into an open part on the back of Detona and that lower half can be used to merge with Detona (the dinosaur)(like how Ailee sits inside of Jawhead sometimes, but can still peak out a bit) and just like that they can shrink Barats in it’s rider form too) to creat the dinosaur form of Grimlock.
I also have to add that the concept or “Merging” is actually a thing in Transfomers (if you really want to know check out “Transformers: Combiner Wars”) and it could have been used here. Also Detona does not just swallow stuff. He spews his acid on the enemies and in many iterations Grimlock breaths fire from his mouth in dinosaur form.
For Barats other skill, at which Barats shoots some missiles to the ground that knock enemies back, u need to know that Grimlock has some also some old iterations (exactly like the one they used) with rockte launcers on his shoulders in his humanoid form (you can actually see the rocket launchers in 1:40) and Moonton could have took inspiration from those designs and given a Grimlock Barats rocket launchers even his Dinosaur form.
For the last point i have to tell u, that i know that, Barats swallows enemies, but that won’t be a problem either, because if you had seen Transformers: age of extinction you should know that Grimlock was a very huge and hungry dinosaur in that movie that actually bit and tore a bunch of decepticons to shreds.
And if we are talking game mechanics something like Grimlock which is often a huge dinosaur towering even over most of the other Transformers all the time would match a huge and Chuncky yet hard hitting hero like Barats much better than a fast and nimble attacker like Roger that can move through walls and sometimes literally fly through the air for seconds in the right conditions.
On top all these facts you need to know that Grimlock is mostly portrayed as a no-brainer-character in the kid’s shows (like for example in “Transformers: Robots in Disguise”) and that characteristic matches Detona (as huge and not very smart Dinosaur) perfectly and contradicting Roger’s at the same time.
Anyways all of this long essay is pointless, because it’s not like Moonton is going to read a single RUclips comment and then literally completely overhaul one of their crossover skins and give it to another hero. And also one major fact they always consider is how popular and profitable the heroes that they choose for these kind of crossovers actually are. Solely based on that point Grimlock Roger would make a lot more money and is much more profitable for Moonton than Grimlock Barats because Roger is much more popular than Barats and get’s picked a lot more too (which is really sad to admit btw), but i still think Grimlock Barat would have been the better choice based on the lore and all other facts.
