❖ Panshet Dam (22 kms) also called Tanajisagar Dam, is a dam on the Ambi river, a tributary of the Mutha River, about

three other dams nearby, Varasgaon, Temghar & Khadakwasla, it supplies drinking water to Pune.

the crest of the Western Ghat mountain ranges, Tamhini Ghat is noted for its surroundings comprising scenic waterfalls,
lakes and dense woods.
