I have a presence sensor and in my tests, when I turn on the air conditioning, with no one in the room, a few seconds later, when the room temperature starts to cool, it starts. Can you tell me how can I resolve this?
sir, this video is really useful. I have a small query, can we control or configure the motion of the movements using angle range? for example hand cross over the sensor, it will detect the motion. n the same way if we will give the angle range of movement, from to 0 to 45 degree? is it possible sir?
Unfortunately, changing the sensitivity is not possible without a hardware modification. HC-SR501 would be an alternative if you want to have more control on the sensor. See mschoeffler.com/2021/05/15/arduino-tutorial-hc-sr501-passive-infrared-sensor-pir-sensor/
Unfortunately, this PIR sensor does not come with an potentiometer to adjust the delay times. However, there is a similar sensor (HC-SR501) which comes with such a feature.
You can change the delay time by changing a little capacitor and/ or resistor on the back side. There is also a description of the PIR-controler used here, a EG4002A or EG4001. They have a CT-input for the delay time. See infos here: elektro.turanis.de/html/prj108/index.html and here: img.ozdisan.com/ETicaret_Dosya/518010_780564.PDF
Thank you for this tutorial. It was very helpful.

Thank you for this tutorial. I already used your code, but it always detect movement.
Is it waterproof? Will the rain give false detection?

Hi dear.. any idea how to change sensitivity?

@@mschoeffler thank you for the reply. Yes it is another option but packaging size is pretty big... 😎
can setting the timing on ?
Sir can we get analog output from this sensor
put the sensor in a Arduino uno and run the code but still flashing error and can not upload...
how would you modify this sensor to change the delay time? is it possible to use a potentiometer to change this value?

Yes, but you said that it is possible to change the time delay by changing something in the circuit

can i adjust the sensitivity
tq. good vid
This would not wok from a glass I think so..!
What would I need to change to get a 0.5 second delay?
change delay to 500
