Ray was an epic musician/composer. One of the most innovative bassist I have ever heard. A genius in his own right. I am so grateful to have listened to this stellar band of the 1970s during my college and post college years. They are my favorite band. PERIOD!
I have a feeling this was made by ai, which is a bit creepy. The thumbnail has the circle around his throat, and there is another video with a similar title with an arrow pointing to his throat, for some reason. Seems like ai incorrectly made these videos

According to his brother Derek, Ray died on March 30th at age 73. (Why do even have the existence of such dumb shyte 'reporting' as this mindless robo-report?) Ray was great, amazingly talented musician and composer. He and Gentle Giant deserved so much more success than they had!
This tribute would have been more sincere and meaningful if they hadn't used a stupid insulting robot voice. And the get out clause at the end renders it pointless.

I appreciate the announcement of this musical great's passing but mister robot the word is bass (rhymes with BASE) and NOT bass as in Ass. Ray Shulman did not make music playing a fish.
The first picture is incorrect, that´s Gary Green the main guitar player from the band, anyways... all FANS knows that ;) I appreciate this video, we all have Ray shulman and His family in our hearts. RIP to one of the giants from Prog music!

It hasn't quite grasped the nuance of human language...as spoken, Ray was not a "bass player" (short A), but a "base player" (long A). Same with "bassist" and "baseist". If you Artificial Intelligence bots plan on taking over you have to get little things like this correctly. Or, what am l talking about? I just came from a job interview and the interviewer couldn't spell 'adaptable'. Maybe AI should take over.
