- The fifth episode of a series of short films, or reels, that show off my favorite things about railroading in Kentucky. It's fall in the Ohio River flood plain just south of Evansville (Rahm), Indiana. This stretch of CSX mainline is a part of what we call "The HD" and most southbounds will end up swapping crew in Nashville. We, on the other hand, will take a hard left just on the other side of the bridge in Henderson, KY and head east to Louisville on "The Texas" or LH&StL Sub.
Your content and production quality are top notch. Really impressive.
Thank you.
Whoa! First cab video I've seen on the Henderson Sub on the long rise ascending to the bridge! Thanks for putting this up!
The faint radio chatter sounds good, adds to the mystique of riding along with y'all on this territory for the very first time.
Thank you. An intentional detail I’m glad you noticed.
Beautiful shots!
Thanks!
Ahhhh love elevated rail
I live right beside this line in Robards, KY. I also know a couple of former engineers that operated from Evansville to Nashville, TN.
