Pretty simple, first of all we shouldn't call them slaves but servants as it is more accurate, second of all a servant can't be a random person it must be a war captive, third of all we must treat them with respect, give them the same food that we eat, give them clothes as good as ours etc... fourth of all we are either heavily recommended or obligated to release a servant if he has stopped his wrongdoings (its an issue of dispute either it is mandatory or heavily recommended)
