I will say however that he could have put it more gently. If he had said, hey my grandma needs to eat a lot of food, she is too poor and can't afford it, so we all need to eat a little bit less, it might have gone better. But he said it very accusingly, he was like, you need to stop eating so much at my grandmas, because of you she can't eat for the rest of the week. I'd feel angry too because he said it rudely and didn't really explain it. He also mentioned that people don't go back for seconds in his family to her, so that also may have helped cause her reaction. because that was just rude. I think I'm with Ashley on the one.
Story about the mother-in-law and the daughter-in-law having the same dress the daughter-in-law is not the asshole you can only have your wedding once well birthday happens every Year so the grandmother can just wear the dress next year or the year after that would’ve been nice to not wear the dress and pick out a different one but wedding just a special birthday dress isn’t a big deal
