  • Ackee & ham Ingredients:
    1 can ackee drained
    Slice ham
    1/2 Bell pepper chopped
    1/2 Onion chopped
    Salt to taste
    Black Pepper
    2 TBSP Olive oil
    Method:
    Drain can of ackee and set aside
    Sauté onion and bell pepper in a medium pot with olive oil on medium heat and stir. Add onions and bell pepper and stir. Add ham and stir, then ackee. Stir carefully you don’t want the ackee to be mushy as it’s pre cooked. Add salt and pepper to your taste and enjoy. This can be eaten alone or enjoy with a slice of bread or bananas.
