While I appreciate the other Jin combo guide you made long ago, I couldn't help but feel like you were missing a lot of combos. You didn't even do his electric combos. Just puting this out there... Jin's (Zen) D1+2, 4 which is his low sweep/snake edge, when hit from the front axis, it leaves the opponent on the ground. Against most characters if you side step right and snake edge, you can then connect ws4 and continue a full combo. However, on Alisa, Katarina and Negan, at the range of about 2.0 or less, you can easily connect ws4 from almost all front axis and follow with bf23, F3, dash, b3, f12... This combo also seem to hit Miguel and Lili from front axis but you'll have to press rising 4 with strict timing at a close range making it inconsistent compared to the other 3 characters mentioned above
thanks for posting another video, I played tekken back in 2015 for like a week, and Im just now getting back into it in 2022, thanks to your season 4 asuka video I have been able to truly enjoy tekken again while playing my favorite character !!!, jin has been on my "next character to learn" list so I know this video will be good
for this combo 0:54 it does not require a sidestep right, instead what you can do is delay the deep dash wind hook fist by a little bit, second point if the combo is starting from a counter hit it requires neither a deep dash or sidestep and lastly if its a counter hit then you can also replace the wind hook fist with zen 3+4 and the rest of the combo will play out as is.
LOVE your combo videos. The quality and editing are top notch. Keep the great work please. I would like to add my little contribution: in combo number 15, after uf3: b,f,2,1 is more reliable and makes 4 more damage than B2,1. It realigns and enables a better combo ender position. Thanks!
Heya I need some help for the combo in 0:51. I know that it's from one of the sample combos in the game itself (not the point) so I know how the combo works, but I just can't seem to land his Back 3 after the second Wind Hook Fist. At first, I tried doing double Electrics but that didn't work since it spins them twice, so I ditched the electric for the second hook fist and used a normal one, but I have no idea why I can never hit the back 3, it's either I'm too late or I'm too early and I don't know which. If anyone knows how to help me then please, I really want to play Jin
I´ll try to help you, first you gotta do a perfect hook fist and wave dash into a normal electric. When you get that you gotta put back 3 and hold forward and then press 1 and repeat. I hope that this mini guide help you
@@ParallaxLens You need to do b3,f1 instead of b3 after the wind hook fist. B3,f has different frame data than b3 alone, which makes the combo connect. (You're also correct about perfect electrics, only kazuya can do them. The first replier meant wind hook fist when he said "normal electric")
I'll put in an anecdote here since Jin's new standing 4 combos are a real source of grief. For an easy 59 damage with carry, you can run up into b3, b3zen1, b3zen13. No microdash needed. For the dash into standing 3 combo, if you do a single wavu cancel (f df f) for more distance to get as close as possible to your opponent then do the standing 3 you also don't need to microdash.
Man, I LOVE this combo, so stylish and cool. However, after weeks of practising, for me it's really hard to get consistant at 3,1>zen cancel>b3,1 I really don't get why sometimes (like 50% of the times) my df input is theoretically clean and doesn't cancel anyway. I got consistant at zen cancel after f4, but for some reason to get it after 3,1 is a source of grief.
So I'm new to Jin because I have only played like two characters this whole time owning Tekken 7 (Yoshimitsu and Lei...I know, I know hate me all you like but I love them) and I have really started to like him and getting the hang of him. I just cant seem to land simple combos though with the Wind Hook Fist counter startup (7 & 8) even though I can make it to the enemy with the second hit but cant land the rising knee to pick them up on either. You can do a 126 damage combo on Jungle Outpost 1/2 with the balcony break but it also requires a wall carry across the entire stage and some technical stuff like re orienting for a proper b21 resplat and a realignment to do rage drive. I can kinda explain it but the moves done in it are df4 db3 sidestep right realignment rage drive 3 1 walk forward sidestep left b21 f1+2 dash zen 1 3 run up bf212. I also suggest never doing rage art out of a combo because Jin's rgart scales heavily, you saw at the end how one hit did literally 0 damage and it only added 16 damage, the end of the 126 wall carry balcony combo does 2 2 9 which is better than doing a rage art after that MAINLY because you did a rage drive instead, which is INSANE for wall carries. You can wall carry from the back of the 3rd or 2nd longest stage (not including infinite) by using rage drive. Jin is easy to pickup but hard to master so if you decide to master him, good luck. He's a very fun character I assure you. Also please nerf F4.
Youre awesome. & what's the timing of the dash after f4 on 02:44? Been trying to lab that combo and sometimes Im able to land it but its never consistent.
you need to buffer the first f input when jin's foot is close to the ground and second f as soon as the foot touches the ground and you will get instant dash.

I just picked him back up and I'm also trying to learn to do this, I'll tell you what I've learned but can't say what works for sure, most people say that doing a DASH not RUN into a long cd to ws4 is the way most people do it, but one "secret" I can tell you that I was told, but haven't had the chance the try, is pressing b1f in order to use zen stance to instantly transition into a run. @@genesishandboards no not at all! In this combo: ewhf whf b3f1 b3f12, you will notice that the b3f12 will drop unless you do b3f13, you have to do a micro dash after the first b3f1 in order to make the b3f12 connect, if you buffer b1f at the end of the first b3f1 then the micro dash should be automatic, this is called Jins 100 dollar combo cuz its considered so hard to do by just doing a regular micro dash One more thing that the Pak Jin Player told me is that you can also use b1f1 to make the micro dash after raw f4 easy as well, when you do ws4 to get the pickup you should automatically buffer in b1f1, he told me "don't wait for the animation just do it all in one motion", then press b21 to get the pickup, this should make the micro dash after ws4 completely consistent with practice. And I completely sympathize my friend cuz my heihachi is also 100 times better than my Jin lol
The Electric hook fist last combo is so hard because you need to do that micro dash and I always fail I stick around with the 2nd most damaging Electric hook fist combo in this video
you have to do the just frame crouch dash 1, similar to his ewhf. if u do it right like in the video his body also gets the electric effect. the just frame cd 1 has shorter recovery frames so db 3 will hit afterwards.
Cannot for the life of me execute the b3,f,zen1,3 ender after screw except on the shortest combos. Most of the time I end up doing a jumping kick (WR3) which whiffs, or at most I can connect the b3, and that's it. Any tips?
You have no idea how much I appreciate that video now that I picked up Jin :v This material is great! I only have problem with his second normal hit combo, the bf23 seems to not come up on time to connect, either it only does f23 or bf23 super late and drops. Any advice? xd
The second b+3 in that first combo seems really hard to land. No matter how I time it it almost always whiffs. Is there a specific timing to it, am I doing it wrong? I can always get it after a rising 2, but not after uf+4 or d+3+4.

@@Section8dc buffering the b1 would be from a hard read? I'd have to try it out forsure. I don't recall how fast you can be back in neutral from zen cancel. Great to hear of your success! I need to get back in the lab with Jin last few sets I've had I went with Heihachi since my Jin needs a lot of work lol
@@genesishandboards no not at all! In this combo: ewhf whf b3f1 b3f12, you will notice that the b3f12 will drop unless you do b3f13, you have to do a micro dash after the first b3f1 in order to make the b3f12 connect, if you buffer b1f at the end of the first b3f1 then the micro dash should be automatic, this is called Jins 100 dollar combo cuz its considered so hard to do by just doing a regular micro dash
One more thing that the Pak Jin Player told me is that you can also use b1f1 to make the micro dash after raw f4 easy as well, when you do ws4 to get the pickup you should automatically buffer in b1f1, he told me "don't wait for the animation just do it all in one motion", then press b21 to get the pickup, this should make the micro dash after ws4 completely consistent with practice.
And I completely sympathize my friend cuz my heihachi is also 100 times better than my Jin lol
i like your videos man, its so awesome. keep up the great work!
Ima study tf out these combos I’m getting better and am on controller only thing I struggle with is the EHWF and the juggle combos
The Electric hook fist last combo is so hard because you need to do that micro dash and I always fail I stick around with the 2nd most damaging Electric hook fist combo in this video
bro what is that zen stance ?? on 0:09
In 4:47, do geyser connect?
1:08 my screw wouldn't connect fast enough no matter how fast I press because of the first hook move. How do you do it so fast?
Same. I'm new with jin can't get the timing
you have to do the just frame crouch dash 1, similar to his ewhf. if u do it right like in the video his body also gets the electric effect. the just frame cd 1 has shorter recovery frames so db 3 will hit afterwards.
if its to hard you can also do: cd 1 >> b3 f >> zen 1 > bf 2,3 f > zen 3 (screw) > dash b3 f > zen 1,3 for 69 dmg
Nice combos and thx for the tip learned alot i main kazuya I’m trying to learn how to play other mishima’s
cant get 0:49 for the life of me. was b3 slowed down recently?
are u doing the correct input? it has to be b3 f into zen. it wont connect otherwise. b3 f into zen has a bigger hitbox.
@@donvisione3634 Oh nice now it works. thanks!
@@freerf2459 you welcome 👍
i can never do the combo at 01:00 (the 2nd hit never land) anyone can help me out? thx much
so the jumping kick is timing but the b 3 i had the same issue somehow it doesnt work if i press b 3 i have to do b 3 f then it worked
@@viesli7724 ok thanks you
someone else also gave me advice and it worked but still very hard lol
@@adrienestevez6350 can u share :D?
@@viesli7724 sorry i forgot the tips :(
i practice 63 damage combo in practice and still missinput much too
Another great video! Can I sub in an EWHF for each time you do a normal WHF? Or does the juggle not work as well in some cases with EWHF vs WHF?
For some reason, WHF allolws you to continue the combo, but EWHF doesn`t. Just tested that in lobby
@@mikvlasov2926 hey thanks for testing that for me. Appreciate it
The second knee dosent hit for some reason
very impressive all good , but at 3:14 the last command is 3,1 into zen not 4,1
This is a really good video, but at 3:15 there is a button notation error! Just thought I'd let you know, keep up the good work :)
Where's the error?
@@Nyx_1000 after the Kirimomi (Screw) he put 4,1 zen 3 instead of 3,1 zen 3
@@ongedierte3606 ah it's true, I didn't see that
Cannot for the life of me execute the b3,f,zen1,3 ender after screw except on the shortest combos. Most of the time I end up doing a jumping kick (WR3) which whiffs, or at most I can connect the b3, and that's it. Any tips?
How the hell do you do 1:14
You have no idea how much I appreciate that video now that I picked up Jin :v This material is great!
I only have problem with his second normal hit combo, the bf23 seems to not come up on time to connect, either it only does f23 or bf23 super late and drops. Any advice? xd
you must buffer bf during zen 1 at the last few frames
Yooo, awesome to see
The second b+3 in that first combo seems really hard to land. No matter how I time it it almost always whiffs. Is there a specific timing to it, am I doing it wrong? I can always get it after a rising 2, but not after uf+4 or d+3+4.
Bgm is unforgettable...🤟
Bro I’m genuinely trying to get any of these combos to work fluidly but my precision is just off. Thanks for the vid tho :)
Hey, minor question: Why don't I see you using d(3+4) as a launcher? Hasn't it been a staple launcher since he was released, or is it unsafe?
for the love of me i can't do the second one because i can never hit the back three after the screw, they're always too far away. am i pressing back 3 too early?
spent hours getting combo 8, my trick is to input d,f,f ( after electirc) then d,df 2 ( quarter circle kinda)
this input allows for the side step, in to dash wind god fist. if u wanna try on 2p, u,f,f after electric
is it important to get the season 4 pass for these combos?
great vid very helpful for TEKKEN 7 players, but...
70 damage is now high damage? i remember tekken 6 having 95 DAMAGE COMBOS is not even close to half hp
LMAO
Second knee won't connect on first combo. Help.
Bro I'm watching these combos on my back three doesn't do that. I mean I haven't played checking in like 2 years but I can do almost all the other combos without issue but when I try to throw it back three in there or pick up with back three it just doesn't f****** work what am I doing wrong? If anyone sees this
Not a Jin main but I love doing his combos but my problem is I can't land a combo from CH~F4 then run Dash CD rising 4 as pick up (not through zen).
are the first two combos possible on console? i cant seem to get the 1st combo's second b3 to land or get the zen cancel 4 right to juggle
Hjhyg
At this stage of complexity, it seems wiser to just train 1 character.
what do u play with i mean do ya play with stick , pad, keyboard?
I cant do electric combos, is nerfed in season 5? i cant continue after 2º electric
How you do the perfect version of that forward down forward bruh? I can't do it for the life of me
How do you EWHF after geyser or d2+3? I can never get it
컷킥 0:22
나락 0:33
초오찌 0:54
레드 시동 : 1:23
뻥발 2:35
뻥발 2:43
벽콤 4:07
How do you enter zen stance after back 3
I just stared tonight using Jin I never paid him attention
Can you do a video on king's jaguar ff1 guide next?
Lars one next ? :p the only video we had was a 2 minutes one
Just re-installed Tekken 7 to play around on, really want to learn Jin, looked at this incredible detailed guide buuuuuut I'm utterly lost still, can anyone point me in the right direction for very beginner player?
what does it mean by "zen stance" ?
I can’t seem to get the zen stance to connect at all, this is painfully hard
Jin can be damaging, but he is an art also.
After launcherfollewed by ragedrive I always just croch can cancel df1,4 S! b3f zen 1,3
There is a better ender for this?
yes, do the one in the video: launcher > rage drive > zen cancel with back (instead of dash cuz its easier) into bf 2,3f > zen 3 (screw) > dash b3f > zen 1,3. its the best wallcarry and dmg.
Paul can give above 70 damage in each counter hit. Is it really worth to play with such hard character and attain such low damage ?
The best❤️🔥
That first 10 hit combo🥓🥓
Any f,f 3 combo?
