An update on the reconstruction efforts on Metro-North Railroad's Port Jervis line. Flooding from Hurricane Irene severely damaged the line in August 2011.
Love you guys! Good work. I have used the Hudson line for 30 years and love the service. I am disabled and my fare is half and I thank them for that as well as I am grateful. The conducters and engineers are all well trained and do a good job dealing with an at times, not so polite public. I had a few friends working for MN one just retiring as a train traffic controller and he gave me info on the 'workings' of the system. One day I hope we can get into the 21st cent and get high speed rail
