- This video is a start to finish, modeling, shading, and animating extravaganza for making the Endoplasmic Reticulum. It uses sculpting for the first time in one of my tutorials but it's still all keyboard and mouse. With a little effort and time this approach can make some reasonably nice figures.
As always, CGFigures will tell you what you need to know faster if you set the playback to x2 speed.

hey! I just wanted to thank you for this amazing tutorial! there aren't many blender tutorials on cell biology models and as a scientist and beginner in Blender this is incredibly useful!
Yes....😊
Thank you so much I had to make one for my school project
Thank you so much, you've saved my school project.
Damn, love this channel!
Thanks I am doing the model for bio project
hello, I am having problen making divisions on the layers? how can I do that
Can you clarify what you mean by divisions? You could add a subdivision surface modifier, or you could subdivide in edit mode, but otherwise I'm not sure what the question is referring to.
@@CGFigures hello, thank u I found them:) It was loop cut
Are you interested in doing TMDC structures like one Layer MoS2 (2H phase). Similar to the graphene tutorial where you can See the different atoms and the bonds?
Hi Tobias. I am always on the lookout for new subjects and I do keep a backlog of requests. TMDCs are definitely something I have planned though
