@@Rav4Gen5even after 3 minutes? Usually you can tell inside especially a warm day you’ll see a super fast turn signal meaning you have to left them cool down.
@@tr7287 well they changed the front turn signals to leds(from last year’s model), so you are half right. And besides, cost saving is what every company does, can’t fault Toyota for doing it as well. This “cost saving” is often passed on to the consumer in the form of a cheaper version of the product. If you want all the bells and whistles and don’t mind paying a premium, then you can look at Toyota’s premium brand…Lexus. I am sure the Lexus nx 350(which is the rav4 equivalent) has leds throughout…among other things, but costs a few thousand dollars more.
I believe the pink seals/plugs are vents for each lamp chamber. They keep water out and prevent moisture from accumulating.
Yeh I figured that when I did this same mod. Clever and simple. I appreciate clever and simple.
Very thorough. Thanks! Can never go wrong switching to LEDs
Wish the LEDs also had a "soft" blink like the OEM bulbs instead of a "hard" on/off blink.
Yea. It does seem harsh since it’s not a gradual glow but it works.
Hyper flash. It can be fixed with a resistor.
That would be a “ratchet”. Keep up the awesome content.
Lol. Thank you.
Are the front bulbs the same size as the rear ones??
Dasaita android head unit how did you able to access the car control setting because my one is not showing up
Thank you !
Will these bulbs hyperflash?
no hyperflash.

What size bulbs
The big shame is that newer rear turn signals are trending all red, which is a dumb design loophole. Bad for safety.
Toyota: Change the front turn signals to LED but let’s save $5 per vehicle by not installing rear LED turn signals.
Good point, but if you sold over 400000 rav4s worldwide in 2021, then yea, $5 saved on each unit adds up to $2 million plus saved total, Just saying…
@@stiben718 good for them but shows that they rather care about a little bit of savings than consumers.
