Other Champions are more powerful in other ways, which are difficult to show here. For example, Goth champions are cheaper, create much faster, and are better against buildings, which means that you can spam them into somebody's base, take out a tc, then spam them in from a different direction. Celt Champions are faster, which allows them to catch up to Villagers and other units a bit better, and gives them a bit more mobility across the map. Slavs Champs are stronger in head to head melee, but that's not the only criterion to determine how powerful a unit is. :)
So basically the units that can defeat this combo are as follows: - Cataphract: bonus damage against infantry + trample - Jaguar warrior: bonus damage against infantry - Teutonic Knight and Boyar: high melee armor - Leitis: high damage and ignoring armor - Urumi: splash damage and ignoring armor
@@thebloodwolf9906 There will be more of them, as they are cheaper. And each will have the same additional damage as the champions. So it's debatable. I think the difference between standard halbs and slavic ones is much bigger than the difference between slavic champions and standard champions. It would be interesting to explore.
@@shprotos4724 Will they be cheaper? With Supplies Slav Champions cost 60 total resources, 40 food and 20 gold. Halberdiers also cost 60 total resources, 35 food and 25 wood. So there wouldn't be a difference in how many you get.

This is kinda set up for these Champs to excell though right? Their splash damage vs armies that are grouped up tight. A little micro and a more open battlefield and these results change a lot
My predictions are that the only units that will beat the Slav champions here are: War Elephant, Cataphract, Jaguar Warriors, and the Kamayuk. I was surprised at how well the Teutonic Knights did! I thought splash damage ignoring armour would have totally swung it for the Slavs. I forgot Boyars existed. The Kamayuk were also kind of disappointing. I thought their ability to blob would really favour them.
Kamayuk are more expensive than Champions. I was surprised how close the Konnik fight was, and I also figured that the Urumi would win pretty handily. Lots of close fights in this one, which kinda indicates that we have a pretty scrappy collection of melee units available now as general melee specialists (for example, Konniks and Keshiks are both pretty solid general melee units).
@@rovsea-3761 I guess Kamayuk kinda have the Steppe Lancer thing where they aren't really doing what makes them so terrifying if you just let the AI autoattack/path with them
Cataphracts with splash damage: TWO CAN PLAY THAT GAME!
This is the most powerful Champion by far
Edit: Btw thanks for doing the unit I requested

Karambit Warriors: "We outnumber you two to one!"
Champion: "Good, lesser chance to miss!"
Won like a champion, and also lost like a champion
They swept through almost every unit which we would consider to be really effective in game

HALBERDIERS (Slavs) vs EVERY UNIQUE UNIT (Total Resources) PLEASE!
They won’t be anywhere as nearly as impressive as Slav champions

Hardbass fits this one pretty well

excelentes videos sigue así 👌
You can also do Teutonic Knights + Rattan Archers vs All UUs
All I can say about this one is "URAAAAAA~!"
URAAA
Wow, Those Samurais were Lost
Majority of melee units(especially infantry) don’t stand a chance due to their numbers as well as trample damage
Trample damage works perfect at groups
Wait, have those been no relic Leitis all this time?
Here's a silly idea: What if you were to give Throwing Axemen Druzhina?
Is it total resource or total score?
Can we get this with Goths?
Ura!!
The champion is a good unit

Guerrero Xolotl vs unidades únicas
There is no Winged Hussars
They are considered a "regional" rather than "unique" unit
