Anoyd and these other young men are keeping real hip hop alive. I am 45 years old(Generation X) and can relate to and enjoy this type of skill being put on display.

Oswin Benjamin is 1000000000x better than Joyner Lucas. He should have all of that recognition. He's the best new rapper. Annoyd is right there with him. Micky Factz should have been listed with the greats along time ago. Damn, I wish there was some kind of objective lyricist ranking organization that wasn't skewed by views, popularity, or revenue. I hate the fact that the best artists/lyricists throughout time never get recognition. I guess I'll just stick to banging this in the car and simultaneously turning heads.
Keep it a buck, most lyrically inclined cats usually never go big or get the most props. Too many cats from the 90s on down done got slept on or weren't mainstream BIG (AZ, King Los, Ras Kass, Blu, Jon Connor, Cory Gunz, etc.). I'm more concerned with new cats getting a solid fanbase to eat off the their labor for the long haul because this rap game is fickle as hell these days!!! Bars only go but so far in this game!!! Got to balance it with everything else. The timing got to be perfect, the rollout perfect, etc. Haven't heard A Noyd album but I'm pulling for cats like him, Nick Grant, Earl Sweatshirt, J.I.Detc. Plenty of young spitters under 30 that bringing that HEAT!!! Hip-hop lives with the people and as long as the people still excited and rappers spitting, Hip-Hop will NEVER DIE!!!

Joyner isn't that great lyrically.I've listened to Joyner's catalog all the way, and he doesn't have the ability to write at all. The metaphors that he uses aren't cleverly written or witty at all. He writes multi-syllable rhyme schemes to hide the fact that he sucks at double entendres, complex metaphors etc. Ironically, the one decent punchline he has was actually stolen from the battle rapper dizaster.
