@@VladimirVladimirovich1952 I mentioned that “I love his dad”. One would assume that, in loving someone, I’d also be aware of whether said person was still alive or not. But thanks for your attempt at being helpful.
Gotta love Wolfie!!! Much respect to a supremely talented dude! Van Halen was the soundtrack to my youth, and I have to say that your dad was, is, and will always be the greatest of all time!!!
Wolfie - if you're out there - I love your music - I love the production - the first album was pure genius, and I can't wait for the 2nd album to drop. And make no mistake, though we all love your Dad - you are unique.
this man is Ed and Val's greatest masterpiece. Wolf is the absolute best. He has proven that he is his own musician and has his own vibe and drive. I was jamming to his dad in the 70's and 80's and now my daughter (and me) are jamming to Wolf! It truly is a blessing to have them in our lives! Thank you Wolf! You're the best man!
I really dig Wolfgang he's such a genuine guy. I love that he's the kings son but he will not be forced to be EVH Jr. He does his own thing and I so respect him for making his own music. Hes every bit as talented as his Dad and Uncle.
Good job Wolf, getting so much better and more comfortable with the interviews, and cant wait for the new album! The first one is still on heavy rotation in my day to day!
So always happy to hear your interviews Wolf, it really brings out the fact how well your Mother and Father raised you, I still remember that day on the radio when the DJ on 97X of the quad cities announced your birth, and now watching you play so very very very remarkable!!!
He is such a sweetheart... a great testimony to his parents and step parents. You can tell when a childs importance is paramount to all adults in their life. You get this wonderfully talented, humble and intelligent man. I bet they couldn't be more proud of the child they raised! We know Eddie is the brightness star in Heaven watching him. He always had that look of adoration when he looked at him. The shear fact he, Wolfie, existed was all he needed from life. That everything else was just gilding the lily for Eddie.
Wolfgang was definitely raised right…and He’s so very talented and humble along with being so down to earth….. He’s gonna be around for a long time 💙💙🎸🎸🫶
It is good to see this young man making his own way. His dad got him a step through the door. The rest is on him and he does not disappoint. good luck and see you down the road
Wolfgang kicks ass seen him 3 times already and he just keeps getting better. Im very fortunate to have caught his dads guitar pick and caught his guitar pick. I proudly have them displayed together
Wolfgang is incredibly talented! Really enjoy his musicianship and humility. I Look forward to hearing his second album as well as all his future music. Oh, and I assume that the SA-126 will be available for purchase at some point. I’ll be buying that to play and hang on my wall next to the Frankie!
I live under a rock, so when I saw Mammoth with Alter Bridge I had no clue what the WVH was all about. I just enjoyed the show for it's own merits. They were fantastic live. That night with them and Alter Bridge was my favorite concert experience of my life. I'd never heard any of their songs before that night, but they have been a mainstay in my spotify ever since.
Learning that he played the Frankenstrat on take a bow….was a massive I knew it moment. Absolutely love the tone of that guitar…….. it was like connecting with an old friend. Brilliant Wolfie. …… simply brilliant!!!!!!
I gave Mammoth WVH a listen because I love Van Halen, but I became a fan of Mammoth WVH because Wolfgang's songs are so good. They're uniquely crafted, and he can really sing. Bonus points for him seeming like a super down to earth guy.
Wolfgang is a great musician not the same as his father he's his own man and that's something to be proud of his own style nothing like his father great in his own way
I Hope He Keeps that ''Brown Sound'' Alive, even if its in little bits here and there, Now That would be a Really Special Homage to his dad and The Van Halen Fans worldwide!
Going to my 3rd Mammoth show at The Observatory in Santa Ana on August 27th. That will be badass because he is the headliner and it ain't a huge venue. Can't wait! Hoping they play Feel.
Great interview. Thanks for not jumping all over the Van Halen history, and throwing questions about his dad all over him. I liked hearing about his equipment and his approaches to recording
It’s really cool to hear him mention Plini and Intervals, especially the album Circadian, as they have become a couple of my current favorite artists and that is probably my current favorite album. If he continues to employ the influences of these guys I am excited to hear what future albums will sound like.
I waited (don't know why) 6 months before listening to Mammoth II and I gotta say it has been in heavy rotation since cracking it open a few weeks ago. Fantastic album, real standout for me are Right?, Take a Bow, Optimist, I'm Alright, Waiting, Better Than You...but the whole album is a play beginning to end body of work. If you want your mind blown crank UP 'Take a Bow' it is so lovely! Looking so forward to see what else Wolf and the band does in the future!
I never been here before but I must say that Wolfe is always awesome, but the interviewer is remarkable. He asked all the right questions knows the history of the interviewee, a true professional. 🤘🏼✌🏼
Wolf is right; there should've been a EVH tribute concert and it would've been a massive thing, but the window for that was limited, and this far after, it just wouldn't feel right anymore. A damn shame things didn't come together at the time. You want to honor Eddie? Give his son and his music a fair shake and enjoy the massive talent that Wolf is, which is what Eddie truly cared about, not his own musically legacy which was already assured no matter what. That first album kicks ass and can't wait for the follow up!!
I'm so mad at myself for not fishing watching this interview when it came out! But it's really great to see Wolf do his thing and he is in a world where we need real Musicians!! Doing it Right, Doing it Real and I have 4 son's and he's in the age area of mine I know Edd is proud! But I know Valerie is gotta be too, & took both Edd & Val to raise such a great mannered young man, so him having Val's brother to be a Wah Man show's he 4 Sure proud of his family! As a father of 4, who's mother passed I know she is proud of our son's as much as me, so congrats to Val & Edd on a Great Young Man! RnR 🐺, ❤️4 Mom & 🙏 4 Pop,🤘🎸🤠
This is so incredible! This guy has soooooo much talent! The love for Foo Fighters and Taylor is incredible. I always said, if I could have lunch with any musician, it would be Dave Grohl. This dude is rapidly taking his place.
I’ve been a VH fan for over 35 years and I must say that I love the Mammoth material. It’s fresh with sprinkles of grunge and obviously rock/metal. Different and that’s why I’m a fan. Initially I came because of the VH name but I stayed because of the WVH talent. Looking forward to many years of Mammoth WVH hits!!
Absolutely Awesome and To Say Thank Wolfgang. I'm a Van Halen Fsn and Comtinuing on with Becoming a Mammoth Fan And I can only believe your Dad is looking Down From Heaven and being Exceptionally Proud of you Thank you very much for some awesome new music

Ok, 1st thing is, I’m almost 48 years old and I’ve been a huge Van Halen fan for as far back as I can remember and I play guitar because of Eddie. I’ve played guitar since I was 8 years old. I think I’m pretty ok at it. But, damn that Wolfie is simply awesome. 2nd himself as a person seems like he is the very best of both his parents and so very humbled and well spoke. This is probably one of the best rock interviews that I’ve heard. 3rd this interviewer is awesome!! He didn’t push the VH shit but still asked wolf in an appropriate way as to gain a response from him. But all his questions were great and he didn’t interrupt like Stern and the hundred other guys. Anyway, FANTASTIC INTERVIEW
We caught the 2nd show of the new tour last night at First Avenue in Minneapolis. Really fun!! Nita Strauss was a good backing band too. I wish she would have come out to play with Mammoth on one song, but didnt happen.
Oh and PS. I listen to Eddie Van Halen's music everyday as well as yours, I can understand not wanting to let go. cuz I don't want to let go either, not having known him personally doesn't matter that dude touched my heart and my life and he is still poking my♥️heart.😊😉
I would love to see him splinter small projects with his uncle on drums and then maybe an annual van-halen weekend like lalapaloosa with open invites to all those that sang out front. Alex and Wolf are the two I would like to hear more from.
Hearing he's into Plini and Intervals makes so much sense. Dude got to listen to one of the greatest guitar players ever almost every day. So yeah. Plini is probably one of the few guys out right now that kinda pushes guitar playing while being extremely listenable just like Ed did (albeit in a totally different genre doing a very different thing but you get what im saying). cool fuckin interview
Wolfie made his own sounds he Shines.that cool 😎 playing the Riff over and over to get your song that is important. The story of school so good. I love that he did with guitar he crafts. Thats cool about your Dad's guitar. Your voice is SO RAD and it add to the performance THAT YOU BRING TO AUDIENCE . Makes you rock. Love your albums ❤️
Wow! Great, great interview! Cannot wait to hear the tune he played with his dad’s original Frankenstein, head, and cabinet. So amazingly cool.
Thanks for watching. The tune it’s on is “Take a Bow” and man what an incredible solo in this song. Wolf’s best yet!
@@GuitarInteractive Thank you for the title! Looking forward to hearing that one and the rest of the record. 👍🏻

@@pablocacaster Gotcha. I guess from reading I thought the bumblebee later turned into the frankenstrat. Thanks, man.
The dude's loveable. Not just sayin' that because I love his dad, but you can see his heart's in this and he's surely makin' his pop proud.
